Phil 2:6- who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped.

The form of God. (NOT "being" God)
(If he were God- he would have ALREADY been equal!)
God is Spirit, Christ is Spirit, Angels are Spirit.
Man isn't.
Point being, that even though being a spirit in Heaven, he didn't think of seizing equality as Satan did!
Instead he humbled himself to carry out the will of God.

I'm not a big fan of the later revisions of NASB or NIV but I don't object to their use.

NKJV, ESV, NLT are good translations.

My favorite is the BSB.

10- that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11- and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

A second God wasn't RETURNED to Godhood!
Christ was GIVEN his NEW position BY God!
Better tear this outta your Bibles, Trinitarians!

I should think you'd have a problem with verse 10... Bowing the knee to Jesus?
 
Rom 8:16- The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Promoting the Trinity.....
 
Col 3:17- And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

As ALWAYS the crystal clear distinction is made between the person (not persons) of God and His son.
And the word "through" says it ALL!
 
1 Thess 1:4- For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that He has chosen you,
5- because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the holy spirit and deep conviction.

What does Paul say the Holy Spirit is, here?
 
1 Thess 1:9- for they themselves report what happened when we visited you. They tell how you turned to God from idols
to serve the living and TRUE God,
10- and to wait for his son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

No Ghost-God, no Trinity.
There is God. There is Christ.

Would you mind giving me your take on John 20:27-29?

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

This is great. I was about to tell @Question if he wants anyone to take him seriously, then he needs to do something other than constantly talking about the Trinity, and start answering questions like @abcaines asked about eternal security of salvation.

I’ll defer to these guys on this issue. I don’t get caught up in translation drama, but I know there are a couple versions that are problematic. If they say yours is problematic, it probably is.

Thanks for the compliment and asking my opinion!
Since he , just before had said to Mary (John 20:17)
" Do not hold me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brethren and say to them,
I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God”, he was NOT speaking to Jesus alone!
Thomas had DOUBTED that God had resurrected him!
So, Thomas was speaking to Jesus- and the One who HAD resurrected him!

What use is talking about it when YOU DON'T KNOW GOD?
That's why it needs discussion- but PRAYERFUL examination!
