Cracker Barrel

I was in Osh Kosh a few weeks ago, and I was surprised that there was not a Cracker Barrel there either, but there was missing a lot of other restaurants that I frequent as well.
It was funny that Wal Mart sold gift cards to a lot of restaurants that were not open in Osh Kosh.
Being there was like going back about 20 years in life.
Being in the South last year was a journey back in time. We spent a good deal of our time in western Arkansas and I fell in love with that area.

I think they changed the biscuit recipe. Not fluffy... dense and smaller

Forget Cracker Barrel, if I’m in the mood for authentic “southern food,” I drive to nearby authentic soul food restaurant that’s owned and operated by a local black family.

The food that CB serves is not what I consider “southern food.” It’s what I’d call “country food.” It’s really no different than what Bob Evans serves, which originated from Ohio, or what Boston Market served (back before they all closed).

I grew up near the Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina area, so I feel like I know what I’m talking about in this category.

"Can someone please explain the real substance of this controversy to me? We don't have this chain up here, and I find it hard to believe there is so much weeping and gnashing of teeth over a logo and decor change, something restaurants have been doing forever."

Many restaurants and brands do not stand out and are not known for a particular thing. And they can change with the wind, so to speak.

But then, there are some that are so known for this or that, that taking away the things they were built upon does seem to be unwise.

And Cracker Barrel is one of them. I don't think it's so much their logo. When I personally think of that chain, I can't even picture their logo. But I do think of their food, their decor and their shops. When you take away those things, it ceases to be "Cracker Barrel" and begins to be just another restaurant. I question that wisdom.

When Chick Fil A starts opening on Sundays, it's all over.

"And many of those who praised them for being closed on Sunday will be packing the place out after morning services."

I'm sure that's true. I'm just saying that that's what they are known for (along with great service).

Because the rage machine has told them to be outraged.
The gay agenda and anti-Christian lobby have quietly behind the scenes infiltrated everything that is considered decent and good. Many people who live out their lives without keeping up with everything taking place are like the frog being boiled in water; when the reality finally hits they find out it is almost impossible to undo the damage. Robby Starbuck breaks down in detail what happened with the gradual change in Cracker Barrel and it goes far deeper than just the logo change.

I was pretty shocked when I listened to this. It's a lot deeper than just a logo change.

I can't get past his obvious man bun.
