He was a major conservative force to be reckoned with. His organization played a big part in getting the youth to vote conservatively. He has now been removed from the scene. I don't find it hard to believe at all - unfortunately.

That guy wasn't the shooter. From the footage, there appears to have been someone on a rooftop a few hundred yards away. The FBI is now reporting they have the suspect in custody (no details yet, so whether or not it's roof guy is still unknown).

I enjoyed his interactions with people of other opinions. He was very gracious and respectful. I found him to be a breath of fresh air in comparison to the normal right wing bluster and blather. Mocking and belittling was far beneath him. While I have no way to prove it, I highly doubt that the words "black tranny" ever came out of his mouth.

The guy they got in custody for questioning is George Zinn. He's pretty well known in Utah as a "politcal gadfly".

I actually only recently found out he was an evangelical Christian when he had a friendly religious debate with Michael Knowles of the Daily Wire. Michael Knowles is a Catholic.
