Charlie Kirk shot.

Your moral equivalency argument aside, the left, by their “Trump is a racist and fascist and will end Democracy and have no further elections etc” arguments give loons a reason to be extreme.

According to a Rutgers University poll:
Murder Justification: 31% and 38% of respondents stated it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk and President Trump, respectively.

These effects were driven by respondents that self-identified as left of center, with 48% and 55% somewhat justifying murder for Elon Musk and President Trump, respectively.

Property Destruction: Nearly 40% of respondents stated it is at least somewhat acceptable to destroy a Tesla dealership in protest.
Is it also justified to shoot someone who is attempting to burn down your tesla dealership.

I'm guessing the evarage tesla dealer leans at least a little left.

According to Cox, the spent casing read, “Notices bulges OWO what’s this?” An unfired bullet casing had a message reading, “Hey fascist! Catch!” and included an “up arrow symbol, right arrow symbol and three down arrow symbols,” Cox said.

Obviously a conservative Christian Republican.

Not a genuine quotation from The Screwtape Letters, incidentally.
The wording is totally off. If I remember correctly, every one of his letters except the last one where Wormwood had lost his "patient", Screwtape would sign, "Your affectionate Uncle, Screwtape."

I found that out later. This one covers the same issue and came from the estate website.

I was informed of this later. The Lewis estate website is where I found this version which they attribute to him. IMG_0794.jpeg

I didn't think I live under a rock, but apparently I do. Other than hearing his name occasionally prior to the assassination, I don't think I've ever watched any of his videos or read anything he's written. I could not have told you if he was a liberal or conservative - that's how little I knew about him. Of course, the current political landscape has zero appeal to me.

Based on what I've seen on social media, this has succeeded in its intended goal: further dividing and polarizing this country.
I'm going to challenge you to go listen to his speeches he does not divide this country he gives everyone a stage to speak.

Catch!” and included an “up arrow symbol, right arrow symbol and three down arrow symbols,” Cox said. A third unfired casing contained a portion of the lyrics to “Bella Ciao,” a song often associated with the Italian resistance during Nazi occupation in WWII. And the last casing Cox described was inscribed with language reading, “If you read this you are gay lmao.”--https://fox4kc.com/news/bullet-casi...re-inscribed-with-messages-what-did-they-say/
They were meant to be found, of course.

Right, because the collective genetic deficiency that is Antifa never just did something stupid.
I see your point, and wouldn't doubt that it was just a bone-headed mistake (on the young assassins part), but I also likely think that it was just a digital generations version of messaging (intentionally leaving the various cartridges and stuff that had his ideology scrawled on it).

Your motive is:
To keep referring to violence and vitriol on ‘both sides’.
To remind us of Christians on some of your social media that call people names….”black tranny’?
Your posting the letter to Wormwood was a call to repentance directed at those people…who you must believe also reside here.

Hallelujah!

Not sure what you mean by this. Are there some accidentally missing words or did it lose something in the editing?

Doh, yes, lost via speech-to-text. Corrected now. I should proofread my messages more frequently.

Understood now. Yes, there's a possibility those messages were meant to be found. After observing the violence of Antifa and other black-bloc participants over the last decade or so, I've been struck by their self-assurance that they're the good guys. (Again--your opponent is a "fascist." How do you deal with fascists?)

Maybe he thought he's the hero leaving his calling card, or that he'd get away with it.

However, Ekk is implying something different: a conspiracy theory. That is, the murderer didn't act alone and may get Jack Ruby'd.

Because they do reside here, don't you ekk? Black tranny is merely a placeholder for all the other demeaning phrases and terms that are commonly used here.

There are plenty of other examples. When I posted the video of Mr. B addressing the challenge from a LGBTQ person about the woman caught in adultery the responses were not about the value of solid apologetics but rather about me referring to the person asking a sincere question. Multiple people jumped in on that one to lambast me rather than engage in the idea that we are to have those conversations with even the "worst" and do it with love and in a respectful manner. Whether he was sincere or not is irrelevant but became the primary focus of the those who refused to even address the answer that Mr. B provided. The deep irony in that case was that the Jews weren't sincere but Jesus answered them anyway. The implication in the responses here was that the guy didn't deserve an answer due to his perceived insincerity. Praise to Jesus for teaching regardless of the motives behind the situation.

Additionally, the vocabulary used here in describing and referencing people who don't agree with the MAGA narrative is telling that politics has replaced the gospel as the primary message and motive of too many Christians. I will continue to point out that dark and light have no place to coexist. I will continue to speak out against the idolatry of relying on a political solution to a spiritual problem. I will continue to challenge my brothers and sisters in Christ to focus on reaching those lost in the darkness of this world, which will not happen based on who sits in the Oval Office or the tax rates we pay. Real people are dying and going to hell because the church has decided that the enemy is flesh and blood and we have to get our pound of flesh out of them politically instead of loving them how and where they are. The idea that the gospel of Christ can be presented on a platter of ugly political rhetoric is a symptom of a departure from what we have been called to do.

Have a great weekend and worship the Lord with humility and thanksgiving in your chosen worship setting.
