Jon extended the scope of his moderating beyond the BB. If he saw behavior of a member on another board or on social media behaving in a manner he deemed unchristian, he threatened to ban that individual 'no questions asked.'
Mind you, "unchristian" behavior could be something as innocuous as JesusFan's statements here. Calling something gossip that is not.

Post number 30 eh? 30 was where you introduced the false claim of gossip. You've been corrected several times since then, yet you keep on recycling the false claim that gossip is occurring. It makes no difference to me, but a little word of advice might be in order for you. If you want to keep any form of credibility on this forum, you might want to change your method of argumentation, because it's holey as Swiss cheese and disjointed as a Joe Biden debate speech.
No, some guy named Brett owns the board. I don't know if Jon is a pastor or not, but the admins and mods seem to treat it as sort of an extension of one's church. I've been looking for that post I referenced, but their search dysfunction isn't fixed, and Google searches aren't yielding much.
In all fairness, it seems he's mellowed some.
All one has to do is to just jump over now to the Board, as is right now very spirited discussion regarding psa, atonement, and Calvinism , no need to wade thru archives
I have been over therefor many years now, and at one time were many moderators, and was more even keeled, but he seems to be the only one now
