Our Political Discourse.

Causing mass starvation, burning down the Reichstag, and blaming the Jews?

Asking where the two most totalitarian despots of the 20th century got their "influence" may be one of the dumber questions someone could ask.
Riiight! One man starved all those leaders to follow him. So not one person believed him? So one man said to an entire country, I will starve and kill you if you do not do what I say and that is, go to war with the entire world. So all those people were scared of one mam that will personally kill them? No one was convinced is what ur telling?

So all those leaders were scared of one man? None believed his message?

So he just got up behind a pulpit and started yelling and people got scared? 😂

So what ur telling me is that Hitler walked into the German government, by his self, pointed his finger at them and told their high ranking officers, if you do not go war with the entire world I will starve you. 😂

It appears, by your wide latitude definition of "great" that Charles Manson, Brigham Young, Anthony Fauci, and David Koresh might be considered to be great. Again, words mean things. Notorious, maniacal, exploitative, totalitarian are better and more apt descriptions.

I can tell I've struck a nerve when the response consists of more foaming at the mouth than actual sense. I don't know where to begin even trying to interpret this word salad.

Bottom line is, the Holodomor was a man-made famine that starved millions of Ukrainians who refused to collectivize. Where did Stalin get his influence? Raw power and a reign of terror.

The Nazi party torched the Reichstag and blamed the Communists to scapegoat them. They used propaganda throughout the mass media to scapegoat the Jews. Where did Hitler get his influence? Lies and deception.

Yeah, they were "great"--if by "great" you mean infamous, the two most evil persons of the 20th century. Little Nicky sure hitched his wagon to a couple of winners.

No none of them maybe minus Brigham Young. Look at Salt Lake City.

I feel like I’m defending Trumps trolling. There’s a guy I work with who literally hates Trump. The guy believes he’s going to be president for a third term. I’m like dude, what?

You get my point about their influence you understood exactly what I said in my reply to you. This is how I’m interpreting this reply to me.
We agree :-)

Either way the evil wicked man got it done. To be clear, I don’t agree, it’s crazy how you gotta state the obvious.

And your boyfriend Fuentes cheered all the way.

You forgot to say, we agree.

So this is as close as you've come to answering who meets the moral standard you hold when considering who would get your vote, yet is still abundantly vague. How about giving a list of potential candidates (Vance, Rubio, Desantis, etc) who you think has sufficient morals to garner your vote.
At the moment I could vote for any of the three you mentioned. Were it not for the big travel "scandal" I think that Cruz would be a good candidate. His choice to leave and return is likely more than he can overcome at this point.

On the outside of the realm of possibility I like Rand and Ron Paul. In the complete dark horse category I have a lot of respect for Justin Amash.

But we don't agree. You're claiming Burrito Mussolini only meant Hitler and Stalin were important, but I'm saying he's gay for totalitarians.
Yeah the left says, No Kings protest. Aren’t you tired of hearing this?

What does this have to do with Fuentes fangirling over mass-murderering dictators? Aren't you tired of babbling incoherently when you have no coherent answer?

you have been asked on this forum many times to name that person.... .. and you always refuse........
I don't recall refusing anything. Choosing not to answer, yes. Refusing, no.

I did give an answer to Alayman just now, so feel free to attack them with all the venom you can muster. Odd that you want to do so but have at it.

If he is able to figure out a way to do so, I expect him to run again. And if he does, it will be interesting to see how it's defended here.

The constitution be damned, because policies. 😎

you think you are so clever with your semantical word games.... .... "i never said this".. or "i never said that"...... ..... .perhaps you are not aware since you reside in the shadowy world of fundamental baptist hypocrisy - but in the legal world choosing not to answer is the same as refusing to answer.............

and sorry to disappoint you but i;m not going to attack the people you mention.... .i see them as respectable men - ...good statesmen..... not necessarily good candidates for president who can deal with the likes of putin or xi jinping or force an end to wars through a combination of overwhelming force and wise diplomacy...... ..... but they would be far better than joe biden - kamala harris or any democrat i see trying to work their way to the front.........

now before you answer...... i hope you will recall that you challenged me to prove you said and implied certain things about other forum members who supported trump a while back... vile accusations in the view of many... ..... so i did my homework as they say and gave you a detailed and itemized list of instances where you did exactly what they claimed.... ...... since then i have challenged you to reply to that post but you have refused... ... or..... excuse me... i suppose you would say "chose not to answer"...... ........ .well........ i choose to never let you forget it....... not until you come clean and explain yourself in an open and honest way .... ..or just simply admit to what you did and apologize........ isn;t that the christian way?........

Once again you argue against straw men that you construct. Is it your contention that policy doesn’t matter?

If we all lived with you in La la land it would be great. But the rest of us live in the real world.

Your laundry list was links to your own "parsing" of what I had posted. Quoting yourself misrepresenting me is not proof of anything other than your own misunderstanding. And yes, I can choose to not answer. You may do with that as you wish. My apologies will follow my having done something requiring that I do so.

i was not the only person here who felt slandered by your vile accusations.... ......and i did not misrepresent anything... i simply quoted word for word what you said..... copied and pasted from your very own posts....... and no-one here thought i had falsely "parsed" or misrepresented what you said either....... ....

in fact.... just like me..... they waited to see if you would reply and give an answer........ ..today is the first day you have given any kind of answer to it at all....... .... and it is as if you are answering something you didn;t even read....... ....

if the offense taken by your fellow forum members over what you said in that thread "does tone matter?" ... and the many slanders you have thrown around since... was indeed a misunderstanding, - then human deceny alone requires something more than simply a " My apologies will follow my having done something requiring that I do so." .... that;s the answer of an arrogant and self centered individual... ..not a christian concerned with how his words or actions might effect his fellow brothers in Christ.....

.. isn;t that one of the things you constantly berate and condemn trump for?.. ..... being careless with his words?....... and not caring who might be offended by them?.....

Thanks for clarifying.

Everybody has limits as to what they will tolerate. I get why you have disdain for Trump's personality and tactics, but for me, that subjective line in the sand isn't there when I view those negatives in light of the policies he institutes.

I think the obvious point is that simply because someone has vast influence is not sufficient philosophical justification to honor them with flattering terms such as "great".
