But really, why waste a great dividing issue by fixing it?

The act is called Obamacare for a reason.

Hint…it’s a Democrat bill…er…mess. Passed with no Republican votes.

Short memory? The primary promise of the 2016 campaign was fixing Obamacare. The GOP had the house, senate and White House and did ... wait for it ... nothing. So much for "repeal and replace". Trump said he had a better plan ready to go. But you know how policies can be. Almost impossible unless you are in control of the entire decision making process. Oh wait. Never mind.

you are the one with the short memory mr bill bus.... . either that or you are just outright lying hoping nobody else will remember or be able to find surviving news reports the democrat media failed to expunge.....

in 2016 the republicans told trump they had a better plan ready to go on day one.... .. he believed them..... and that was the problem.......

trump did not create any health care plans himself .... as president that would not have been his job even if he had had time to do it....... which he didn;t....... and eventually trump discovered mr paul ryan - an original rino and never trumper - had misrepresented the readiness and value of a republican "plan" to him - but was willing to let obama care be repealed anyway... thus giving republicans a chance to make improvements and put a better care plan into place...... ....john mccain - another rino and never trumper - made a special trip to washington even though dying of cancer and shot down the republican attempt to repeal it.........

after that trump declared that until republicans could get their act together the aca obama care was the "law of the land".... paul ryan then sat on his hands and did nothing until his term expired - refusing to step aside or step down and allow other republicans to get anything done.....

so if anything trumps failure in this regard was being new to government and trusting certain republicans too much...

but don;t let any actual history get in the way of your constant campaign to exercise your anti-trump obsession.......

Okay. If you go back to post number two you will see that I said that the GOP had a plan. Unfortunately Mr. Trump was foolish enough to believe them and campaigned on their lies. Yeah, that makes him look even better.
 
Do any of you history buffs remember what the great ACA replacement plan was? You know, the specific details of the program that John McCain thwarted from his death bed? It was so good that the GOP has never tried again to implement it since then?

i remember it.... .. it was atrocious... .. i even wrote something about it on another location and said i was glad it failed... ... ..in fact.... here is one of the posts i wrote in that thread from 2017....VVV

the republican health care bill failed............
and ........... i can;t honestly say i am upset about it..... ....the bill had some major problems.... one of which was the probabality it would raise the premiums for lower income americans aged 50 to 65 from 1,700 dollars a year to over 14,000..... and while i;m by no means a financial wizard even i can see how the buzzards would have come home to roost on that one.....

but in reality.... i seriously doubt president trump is very upset about the failure of his bill either..... .... he might be pretending to be for the sake of the democrats who are curently high five-ing each other ... giddy with elation over their "victory" in the house..... but if they will just think back a few months they might remember telling candidate trump that if the republicans repealed and replaced obama-care then they would own whatever problems came along with their new plan...... ....i wonder how long it will take those same democrats to realize they are now the sole owners and proprietors of obama-care....... again.......

donald trump himself said the best thing for him to do personally would be to leave obama-care alone and let it fall apart..... then work next year on a better plan that few would oppose in light of the obama-care failure..... but he added that wasn;t best for the country so therefor the right thing to do was to repeal obama-care and replace it with a better plan... plus he also promised the american voters that;s what he was going to do as soon as he took office..... ..... well now...... in the true form of a shrewd and experienced businessman..... he has ended up with the best of both worlds...... he has kept his promise.. even though his bid failed.... and now he has a clear conscience to leave obama-care alone..... both these things will eventually work in his favor when obama-care disentegrates next year.........

although it took 2 years longer to disintegrate than i thought it would..... the democrat aca (obama care)... did in fact disintegrate..... ..this is why democrats added all the extra funding and suplements to it during the covid pandemic... and it;s part of what they are trying to save by shutting the government down like they have done....... even though that extra money did nothing to help.... it only ended up costing everybody more money for lower quality health care.....

and this was what a i wrote about it after 3 years 1/2 had gone by and we saw just how bad the aca really was.......

from 2020.......... so.... that was 3 and a half years ago,... .. and nothing has been done since... .... and when i hear the talk in the debates and discussions about health care i am reminded of something i disagreed with president trump on completely.... ... and for which i still disagree with him on today..... ......

yes.. i believe obama-care..... or the unaffordable health care act as i like to call it...... should have been rescinded and replaced....... ....but......not until it could have been replaced in it;s entirety......

president trump likes to say his removal of the most unpopular part of obama care.....the individual mandate ..... was a good thing.... ..i disagree...... ..while it was indeed the most distasteful part of obama care on the surface... .. it was also the one thing that would have guaranteed the plans removal had it remained in place.... .if young healthy people had been forced to abide by all parts of obama care until it could have been replaced as a whole... they would have pushed their congressmen to get it replaced sooner... .

but as it is now.... they don;t have to worry about it.... they free to forget all about health care...... and how likely are they to need medical health insurance in the near future anyway?...... .not likely at all... ... so they can easily live without it for now... .. and save their money in the process... .... and without their payments helps cover the cost.... obamas disastrous health care order is left alone to become even more disastrous for those who actually do need health care insurance.... ..

if president trump thought the young and healthy would rmember how kind he was saving money for them, and support him in a future election.. ..(while they are currently rioting in the streets).... ... he was wrong..... this is the generation that took money from their own parents for years... lived at home into their 30s.... then lived off trust funds while they went to college.... graduated to make 6 figure sums in a tech job... and pretended they did it all on their own....

they should have been left to pay the individual mandate until congress was forced to replace that plan....

as it is... due to the fact that so many people who never paid a dime for their own insurance.... i.e. chronic welfare and willfully jobless.... have to be covered for free under obama care...... insurance coverage across the board has been severely downgraded for everyone...... .. worst of all.... downgraded for those who worked all their lives to pay for their health insurance... retired... . and now need it badly... ...30 to 40 years ago that group were sold a health care plan through their employers that they thought would continue on into their old age and be their for them when they needed it.... ... the changes that came with obama care was only going to allow that to happen if those who did not yet need that coverage continued to pay their premiums.... ...

well..... now ..... those same people... most of whom were avid trump supporters in 2016 have been left with the short end of the stick on health care..... and are looking at a democrat future with even more reductions in overall coverage and an even higher price to pay for it.....

just my opinions based on what i have seen and experienced myself with regards to health care coverage.... .. i am still voting for donald trump this november.... .. i can only hope others who have been negatively effected will do the same..... a plan endorsed by trump is the only thing that will help at this point..... medicare for all will end up being medical care for none.... except for those rich few who don;t need insurance in the first place....

still far better than any democrat president or lawmaker........ trump got fooled into going along with a bad idea by some very well practiced crooked politicians....... but the democrats march in lock step with each other knowing full well how bad and how corrupt their policies are........ trump made mistakes believing he was doing the right thing for americans... ......... but democrats intentionally do the wrong things - knowing it;s all wrong - and simply for the sake of staying in power ..... .....

Trump said he was gonna fix it. I can admit Obama made it worse. Can you admit the republican so say Christian right and Trump lied?
 
Healthcare has bought and paid for the republicans and democrats it will never be fixed unless we get an America First congress and president and it ain’t JD Vance unless he changes but he’s been paid for by Palintere (spelling I know) owners.
