Bro. Hilliard was a Miami Military Academy grad and a Vietnam Vet who served in the Navy.
He also attended Hyles Anderson College

He was a full-time pastor, continuing to faithfully serve God until his passing.

Pastor Al Janney (95)​

Husband of Elinor (Brantley) Janney

Bro. Janney held degrees from at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and Cincinnati Bible Seminary in Ohio and Barry College in Miami, Florida.

Bro. Al served as assistant pastor to John Rawlings Landmark Baptist Temple in Cincinnati before Pstoring for for many years.

Pastor Janney was given an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Bob Jones University and a honorary Doctor of Letter degree from Hyles-Anderson College.

He help found the Baptis Bible Fellowship international and served as its president for 3 terms in the 1960's

In 1970, Janney began the American Association of Christian Schools, which represents over 1,200 schools across the nation with over 100,000 students.

He served in the Army during World War II

Is there a particular reason that you posted this? I knew him from my time at HAC. I mean, his death was 40 years ago and he's listed in the very first post on this thread. Just wondering?

My algorithm identifies new listings (Obits) that have not been posted previously. Somehow I missed McCracken on my original list.

Steve died of cancer. I worked with him on the bus routes. He was a great person. Praying for his family.
