Because real people who need the gospel care about our position on politics and politicians, and couldn't care less about who we fight with inside of Christendom. We represent the Kingdom of God, not the fifedoms of men.

I am still unsure why you think that God doesn't care that His ambassadors have no trouble publicly aligning themselves with ungodly men but He cares deeply when they align themselves with a brother who has a different view on Christian practice. A conservative pastor promoting our current president raises no eyebrows but if he were to quote the wrong theologian from the pulpit, look out! Got to properly denounce his compromises and failure to stand against "them".

The lost world we are charged with reaching doesn't give a flying fig about the purity of our theological principles. If they even notice it is because our infighting doesn't square with our proclamations about peace. On the other hand, they do notice that our moral principles are pretty fluid (maybe flimsy is a better word) depending upon whom we choose to apply them to.

and christians in america also need a country that will allow them to practice their christianity freely without interferrence and threats from pagan tryrants.......... america has provided that freedom to christians for 250 years.....

but you would see it brought to an end and see christians persecuted and murdered... just to satisfy your own misguided self serving principles.. ... which are much more about puffing up your piety and feeding your pride than anything else.......

I am sorry that you weren't able to follow the comparison between unnecessary "theological" separation and biblical separation from the world.

and how often are you actually out there on the street trying to reach the people making up that that lost world?....... .......... the ones i come across care about politics to a point.. but not much at all compared to how they care where their next meal will come from....... they don;t ask who we plan to vote for and we don;t tell them.......

but the thing that gives them pause spiritually - and causes them to doubt the presentation of the gospel - is the many disagreements they see among people calling themselves christian..... ..in their own words... "how are we supposed to know what to believe when christians can;t even agree amongst themselves what to believe?"..... ... if you try mixing politics into an explanation of that issue and you will lose them forever..... ... ....

but in truth i doubt you will ever have to learn that - coz i doubt seriously that you ever go out there........ arguing politics with a leftist leaning is what you seem to be all about.... . the agents of the pagan foreign powers you champion through this bizarre exercise of yours must love you.......

spell your goofy name backward if you want to but don;t try to turn my point around backwards to make your own..... .the separation between christians itself might not matter.... but the points of argument behind those separations matter very much..... especially when both sides argue their salvation could depend on going one way or the other.... .. ....

like i said.... you need to actually get out and start sharing the gospel with real people in the world.... those out on the street... .. not the ones you corner in the church lobby after the service.... and not other keyboard warriors you come across on the interner either....

when was the last time you even shared the gospel face to face with a real person you had never met before?....... and i don;t mean someone in jail on the other side of the bars where you are safe and they can;t reach you either....... go out and find a group of homeless guys on the street and talk to them... ..try focusing on the gospel at all after the issue of politics comes up... half of them will want to beat you into oblivion and the other half won;t care if they do.... ..
