Does God decree all things that come to pass?

I do not believe I have even said that I am Calvinist myself. The implications of my question to you goes far beyond the Calvinism/Arminianism debate. It goes straight to the issue of whether God is actually God!

And also note that many here disagreeing with you are not Calvinist at all.

Whether you disagree with Calvinism or not, you are guilty of slander and obviously could care less about the truth of the matter! YOU ARE BEARING FALSE WITNESS!

Represent Calvinism honestly and accurately then tell us where you disagree and why. I may or may not agree with you but you will have gained my respect.

As it stands right now, you are just an idiot troll and hardly worth my time.

A great example of what's recently been called "toxic empathy." She could, reasonably, downplay her daughter's victimhood by saying it could have been worse, or something along those lines, without denying that she was, indeed, a victim. Instead, she virtue signals her moral superiority by minimizing the harm done to her daughter and rationalizing that being victimized was actually a good thing, but also absolving the bullies of any blame for their actions.

I wonder, in a Christian context, how easy it is to manipulate some people into believing that such is "Christ-like," becaue it's essentially an altruistic, substitutionary sacrifice to save "someone else" (however abstract) from a similar fate.
