The conference on the "most important passage proving the Trinity" includes a person who denies the Trinity... and Nick keeps deleting my decent comments.

Don't let this group fool you. They are more interested in finding a lectionary mss that includes this passage than they are in actually defending the Trinity.

I've asked more than once: If the Johannine Comma is so important to the doctrine of the Trinity, why is its most ardent defender at present a denier of the Trinity?

I don't get an answer. For all the cant about separation, the fundies are a pretty broad-church bunch. When it suits them.
 
...and it is not like Avery is persuasive... He can't (won't) answer these criticisms. He just schleps phrases from Google searches as if he has found important information.
 
I don't recognize any of these names except Phil Stringer. He was pastor of Ravenswood Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. He has a doctorate from Landmark Baptist College in Haines City, Florida (Mickey Carter), where he served as Executive Vice President. He is currently president of Dayspring Bible College and Seminary in Mundelein, Illinois, and Vice-President of the King James Bible Research Council. He is a strong King James Only advocate, and I personally know a family that had a run-in with him and fell out of favor with him over their alleged lack of King James Only zeal. He is the author of a number of books, including "The Faithful Baptist Witness," "Gail A. Riplinger's Occult Connections" and "The Messianic Claims of Gail A. Riplinger."

I wonder if Dayspring knows that their President is entertaining and speaking along side nonTrinitarians.
