Free Will or Freewill Baptist

No, but apart from the wording, what's the difference between a "Free Will" and a "Free Will Baptist"?
 
I have relatives who are Freewill Baptists. They reject the idea of eternal security and believe that if you sin willingly, you stand a chance of losing your salvation. They also include foot washing as an ordinance. They also, at one time, had a couple of Bible colleges to train their preachers.

Both are Baptist. There are Free Will two words and Freewill one word. As a rule, the Freewill one word would view the Free Will two words as liberals.

The Freewill in my area are very KJV only. Many that I know believe if you die with unconfessed sin, you are hell bound.

They have absolutely no understanding of salvation.

Excuse me for being a bit blunt, but I find the premise of your claim of there being a difference in the two (Free Will or Freewill) to be a distinction without a difference. Are you pulling our leg?

No, I looked it up after he explained it to me. "Free Will" Baptists are like the southern convention, and "Freewill" Baptists are like the northern convention. They each have their own spelling.

In Tennessee, there are churches, that are Freewill, one word, that will not belong to the state or national association of FWB. The ones that are two words will.
