I don’t know what a hobby horse is in this context.
I simply asked:
He ever preach on the sanctity of life?
He ever cover Sodomy?

Those and a few other subjects (Transgender, Biblical marriage etc) are often cited as ‘political preaching’ when they are interpreted in light of Scripture.
Seems that sin is often endorsed as policy and those who protest are called Christian Nationalists…or something.

We on in Hebrews. If it comes up in Hebrews I’m sure he will cover it.

He has preached about marriage and divorce a few years back because it came up in the text.

He definitely preaches about sin within the church. He doesn’t mention being drunk, bar hopping, smoking marijuana and things like that. But more about gossip, lying, pride, ego you know sins that are inward within a Christian. He says things like…..your neighbor that gets drunk maybe he doesn’t have things figured out like you. So come down off your high horse and stop judging him. Start a relationship with him build some trust and act like a Christian.
