Widespread Damage at US Bases.

And installed the Shah. When did the US install the ayatollah and sharia law? That is the claim that you have made.
I see it as a domino effect. Tip one domino and there you go.

I understand you do not understand it that way and I’m ok with you being absolutely wrong. And your view of me is that I’m uneducated, don’t know how to read, probably dumb fool 😂

I believe I’ve given facts and you believe I’m stupid, dumb and everything I’ve said, is irrelevant 😂

We simply disagree.

Oh that’s right the school was there for 10 years and they are telling us that they had faulty intelligence. Which means they did not survey the area for 10 years.

You are correct, they are telling us they did not know a school was there for the last 10 years. And you 100% believe them. I don’t get it.

I was told this administration was not other administrations. Therefore, they would not be acting as past administrations acted.

You know, the faulty intelligence about the Iraq war. The faulty intelligence that kept us there for more than 20 years.

The targeting requirements pretty much eliminates this as a possibility.

ai search: Explain Tomahawk targeting protocols.
Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) use a multi-stage planning and execution process that combines pre-planned navigation data, weaponeering calculations, and layered command approval. Modern Block IV/V “Tactical Tomahawks” add in-flight retargeting, but the core requirements remain the same.

1. Target development and validation (joint targeting cycle)
A candidate site first enters the joint targeting process (JP 3-60). Intelligence analysts develop the target using imagery, signals intelligence, and other sources. It is then validated against rules of engagement, no-strike lists, and collateral-damage estimates. Validated targets go onto a Joint Integrated Prioritized Target List (JIPTL) that the joint force commander (or designated board) must approve before any munition is assigned.

2. Weaponeering
Planners calculate how many missiles, which warhead type, and which aimpoints are needed to achieve the desired effect (probability of damage). This accounts for target construction, expected accuracy, and collateral effects. The output is a specific “task” that includes coordinates, desired time-on-target, and number of missiles.

3. Mission planning (route and guidance data)
Dedicated Cruise Missile Support Activities or Theater Mission Planning Centers build the flight path. The route must stay within range, avoid known defenses and terrain obstacles, and include update points for two navigation systems:

TERCOM (Terrain Contour Matching) uses stored digital elevation maps to correct the missile’s inertial navigation mid-course.
DSMAC (Digital Scene-Matching Area Correlator) compares a real-time camera image of the terminal area with a pre-loaded reference photo to achieve final accuracy (typically a few meters).

Modern missiles also use GPS. Planners select the terminal dive or impact maneuver and package the data into the missile’s mission file. Traditional planning took 24–80 hours when the maps and photos were already on hand.

4. Predesignation and launch-platform assignment
A Tomahawk Strike Coordinator matches each approved task to specific missiles on specific ships or submarines, considering inventory, range, other tasking, and redundancy. The firing unit then loads the mission data. Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) lets a ship generate or modify a mission in minutes if required.

5. Launch authorization and execution
Final release authority rests with the designated commander (often the strike group or numbered-fleet commander) after confirming the target remains valid. Once airborne, Block IV and later missiles can receive in-flight updates or new aimpoints via two-way satellite link and can loiter while sending back imagery. A human still issues the “engage” command under current doctrine.

The process is deliberately layered so that maps, photos, intelligence, weaponeering, legal review, and command approval all occur before a missile leaves the tube. Failures typically occur when one of those inputs (especially the underlying intelligence or imagery) is stale rather than when the missile itself is inaccurate.

It's a terrible sad thing but how many schools for kids have an adjoining wall with a missile group housing facility.
That's a poor design and dangerous. I'm not saying Iran did this on purpose. That seems like a flawed design. I'm not very educated in warfare but those kids were in an extremely poor location. Given what I have read about human shields. I hope their being there was just a case of lack of space.

No, Iran does use human shields. They did what they did with the school on purpose. Maybe, to deter our military from bombing but that doesn’t happen when the Military industrial complex needs bombs dropped in order to build more in order to continue making money.

Now, there are those in here who would say, now that’s absurd! You actually believe that there are people in business that want us to continue bombing countries for no reason but only to make money?

You are a fool. You are stupid. You are a conspiracy theorist. You are a kook. You have no facts. Which is the most interesting one. No facts to prove this? 😂 how many bombing campaigns have we been in since WWII?

Think about it. In Iraq for 20 years……… right back in 1.5 years later 😂 yeah ok we have no facts to prove this 😂

Now catch this…….you have no proof because the government said such n such therefore you’re wrong and stupid.

Oooooh ok the government said so and put out the documents that they drafted to prove THEIR FINDINGS.

These people are trusting a government that WILL NOT call this a war but a CONFLICT 😂

i;ve said this before.... but i guess it;s worth saying again.... .... like it or not our country is at war..... and in a time of war nothing encourages an enemy to keep fighting and keep trying to kill americans like seeing american civilians at home talking the kind of trash that a few people are spewing here...

most people - even those against the war - understand that and don;t speak in ways supportive of those wanting to see us destroyed.... .....but a few here have literally become a mouthpiece for the mullahs... a verbal aid and comfort to the enemy.....

what;s worse is they know there are people on the forum - and others reading it - who have friends and family members that are at this very moment in harms way - serving in the middle east.... and they don;t seem to care..... .. in fact - from what i have seen a few even appear to enjoy the discomfort and disgust their words cause in others...

...which is why some of us stopped reading anything they post a long time ago.... and that;s any post on any subject..... . .trolls are just not worth the trouble... .
