If he knows nothing about your mother, it’s equivalent to “your momma’s so fat” jokes. If he actually knew her, that would make it personal.

So the petulant child goes for my mother. To your credit, you haven't done that. Neither has the queen bee, Tarhaid, or even Witless Joe. In all of that you show yourselves to be better, more mature people than he is, and extol the advantages of real world experience as opposed to one's bookish facade.

I guess I see it differently. If you want to take potshots at my mother, it just seems silly because I know you don’t even know if she’s alive or dead, good or bad, etc. I can’t speak for the others, but maybe they’d feel more like you. As far as @aleshanee goes, her dad was a member here, so I imagine it would be different for her, and if I’m not mistaken, I think he even knew some of these forum members in real life back in the day (college or church?).

yes.... my dad was here on the forums for a long time.. ... in fact he was here before i was.. .and he knew a lot of the old members back then from college. .. .. my sister was here too for a while .... personally i wish they were both still here... ..... while i might be a "queen bee".. . my sister was an alpha wolf... ... she could rip the meat from the bones of an argument and leave the opponent devastated.....
she is only a few years older than me but when i came into this family she served for me as what we call a hanai mother in hawaii.... ..although neither of us saw it that way at the time - looking back i can certaintly see it now....... i would not be alive today had it not been for both her and my dad...... ....
and what;s the "queen bee" thing about anyway?... ... it;s not the first time i have been called that on the forum... ...... it;s not as bad as some of the other things i have been called....... . .. in fact it;s giving me inspiration for a possible next years halloween costume.... .. .... .i think it would be easy to pull off.... .. i;ll have to think about it.....
