Jimmy Carter opened the floodgates to the homosexual revolution as he was the first American President in history to bring homosexual rights activists to the White House and campaigned on homosexual rights. He also fought to bring homosexual teachers into the classrooms to teach the children of California and he was one of the chief proponents of making homosexual marriages legal because he believed Jesus approved of it. I was in Tennessee when Carter first ran for President in 1976 and there were members of my church who voted for him just because he was a “Southerner.” Many aren’t old enough to remember how radical he was on some of these issues but will quickly set him up as an example as what a Christian should be.
