i posted a few videos of cave diving emergencies and tragedies in the hac forum worthless thread.... .... but a few guys said they found it too disturbing.. .... and in truth it was... .. but also in truth i had not even gotten to the old vhs dive training videos we have in our collection yet....the ones related to the type of deep submergence saturation diving my dad use to do... . .. those pull no punches about showing what happens to the human body in a sudden overpressure or rapid decompression emergency..... ...but probably not appropriate for the forum ...

but i will post the picture he used on one of the old forums for a spoof character
he created right after he retired from commercial diving........ he called it
empty dive suit.... wrote a few stories to go with it..... . but unlike the
malicious spoof and sockpupppet characters people create here -

everybody knew emptydivesuit was him..... it was all for fun..

I can see how it would be disturbing. The videos on that YouTube channel are mainly just cartoon characters mixed with actors—no gory content. In some videos the people do survive, but not all of them. It’s disturbing but s also informative and somehow addictive. 🤷🏻‍♂️

One of my favorite weeks of the year. ⛳️ BTW, I enter the lottery for tickets every year, and every year get declined. 🙁

We never caught many bass. Trout. They stocked it with Brown trout and brook trout. Ocassionally we'd snag a muskie, but they were never big enough to keep.
All of my fishing in life has taken place between the Florida and North Carolina region. I’m looking to do an ice fishing trip in the next few years. That’ll be an experience for a Deep South boy.

I’ve been waiting so many years to get into Augusta National and try one of their famous pimento cheese sandwiches. They’re still only $1.50–same price since the year 2003.

Pimento cheese has put a bit of weight on me...

A December saltwater duck layout I did in Tampa Bay back in 2017.

Favorite wildlife photo. I don't do real wildlife photography. I don't have the equipment or the patience for it. But sometimes nature just offers scenes on a silver platter.

a short section of the old pali road.... not used by motorvehicles since the 1960s... but which is all a part of the route we use for our 40 mile round the east end of the island bicycle rides...... (the one we use moutain and all terrain bikes for...).... not all part of this old road are in this pristine condition.... on some parts our bikes have to be shouldered through the frame and carried - sometimes climbed with.... but it;s an awesome workout....🚵‍♀️

That’s a great use for a road that’s not considered car worthy. On the other hand, it would be great if the they returned it to nature and maybe make it for off road bikes.
