I heard of a sheriff at a news conference stating that a suspect in a shootout had died of natural causes. A reporter asked him how he could say such a thing since the suspect had been shot at least 27 times. The sheriff responded, "When someone is shot 27 times, naturally, they're going to die."
Given some jurisdiction's propensity to prosecute terroristic threats, Pastor Spell had definite standing to have his neighbor prosecuted if his allegations are true. However, in these cases, law enforcement is notoriously inconsistent in pursuing such threats. Did he have a reasonable suspicion...
For as tied to tradition as IFBs claim to be, this sort of thing seems pretty universal. I have observed similar things at PCC when Mrs. abcaines and I visited a couple years ago.
