How many Christians has the Iranian regime slaughtered the past month or so that the news press refuses to cover?

It used to be that wearing a beard (or any sort of facial hair) was highly frowned upon. Not so much for those who were in "laity" but definitely for the clergy. I had a moustache and sideburns in the 80s but when I noticed that none of my favorite "Preechers" had any facial hair, I shaved mine...

And that we did. We were also in a culture where we got them "dunked" as soon as we could. I call this practice into question. Perhaps you are a "Paedobaptist" who would baptize their baby whether they wanted to or not? Not going to debate this but simply point out that such brings about its...

Maybe he is a "Hard-Shell Baptist" who doesn't believe in "Paid Clergy?" Looking at the Hard-Shell (Primitive) Baptists, they definitely get what they pay for!

I bet he smiled at the camera and said "Look Mama! I'm a REAL Hockey player now!"🤣

I agree in theory with the so-called "age of accountability" in so as one is consciously aware of the "things which are clearly seen" along with Rom 5:13 and 7:9. What I would adamantly disagree with is setting a definitive "age" at which such takes place. This is different one from another. I...

Good catch! Eph 4:5 says "one Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM (for emphasis, not shouting) and some use this as criticism towards Baptists who will often "Re-Baptize" those who were baptized as babies or whatever. We can get into semantics over what makes a baptism valid but I believe the "One...

This was pretty much Martin Luther's thinking as well even though he believed you could actually fall from grace.

He was a relatively small "Side Character" to the story (he does get more screen time in Redux though) but he is what everyone remembers! How many lines are you quoting from Capt. Willard or Col Kurtz (The.....Horror....)?

Robert Duvall is my favorite actor of all time! We lost him this last week and I hope he knew the Lord but that is neither here nor there now. I know the movie house is wicked and of the devil but no one said nothing if you went to Blockbuster and now that we have Netflix, you can stream to...

Anyone who runs is a VC! Anyone who stands still is a well-disciplined VC!

I was out "Street Preeching" in downtown San Diego and one of our members talked with a young man who said "I used to be a Christian just like you but now I worship Satan!" My fellow street preecher had the audacity to tell this young man he believed he was "saved" because once upon a time he...

Knee-jerk reactions should always be avoided although our past experiences often shape our biases. There is much lunacy going around in the name of "Once Saved Always Saved" resulting in some really horrible orthopraxy - especially among "Suthren Babtists" of which I am loosely affiliated...

I am not sure how everyone here feels about Lent but I am very adamant about this one thing: After lent, what ever you lent out should be returned! It's just common decency right? Carry on!

Perhaps all the answers about 9/11 can be found in the Epstein files?

Only if you cook it to taste like fish, not chicken!

Keith and Kristyn Getty are wicked, worldly rock and rollers too according to David Cloud!

I believe the only biblical response for a believer is reconciliation. If they refuse to reconcile, the other is "free" (not under any bondage) according to 1 Cor 7. According to information I have read, it seemed like his wife was being reasonable and she wanted to work things out as well...
