74% of Breakthrough Covid Cases in Fully Vaccinated

But if you want to know when the infection rate stablized, do the math. If 90% of the population needs to be immune to reach herd immunity, as postulated by Lying 卐auci, then around 300 million people in the U.S. need to have either natural immunity or vaccinated immunity.

If around 70% of the population needs to be immune, as has been suggested by real epidemiologists, then around 231 million need to be immune to stabilize the infection rate.

An Infection Fatality Rate of 0.3% applied to the number of fatalities will yield an accurate estimate of the actual number of people who were infected.

Add to that the conservatively 30% of the population who will have significant exposure without becoming infected due to memory T cells created by exposure to common cold corona viruses, and you will have an accurate estimate of the total number of people who have been infected.

So, do the math, and then find out when the total number of fatalities was such that the number of infected people in the U.S. reached 70 or even 90 percent. And you will know when the infection rate stabilized.

So if in your Land of Make Believe increasing numbers of cases = pandemic is over than we can rename it. I know words are quite fluid with you. Increasing numbers of people are getting COVID as can be seen in the 7 day average of cases. Of course the whole idea behind stabilization is that one person would only infect 1 or fewer people. If the number of cases is growing it's difficult to see how that has been attained.

One more time, and please consult the material I provided, an epidemic is over when the infection rate has stabilized.

An infection rate has stabilized when herd immunity has been reached.

Do the math.

But case counts are epidemiologically irrelevant. What matters are the casualties, the hospitaliziations and fatalities.

There are millions of flu cases in the U.S. every year, but we don't have a flu epidemic every year.

I'm not going to do all your homework for you.

I don't see where you're doing your own homework, nor anyone else's. You truly do LOVE to try and manipulate the meanings of things as much as you can to fit your narrative, don't you, Ekklesian??? You just can't seem to help yourself! I truly believe you're a Socialist Democrat hack.

Fortunately you do not have to Webster's already has:

If you are using your definition from your Land of Make Believe or a specialized definition none of it really matters the disease doesn't stop infecting and killing because you choose not to call it a pandemic.

When is an epidemic over?

This never was an epidemic...it was a fantasy of the governments of the world. The REAL question is when is an ALLEGED epidemic OVER????
Ok
You keep accusing me of lying, so I thought I would ask you...when is an epidemic over?
Of course the most precise answer is it depends on who you ask. There isn't a universally accepted criteria for when one is over. Neither is it really my concern to precisely tie down the day and hour of it's demise. A good indicator that it's not over, though, is increasing cases nationwide.

Are you an epidemiologist?
