I'm sure Iran is looking for volunteers to lay down their lives for them... I hear the benefits are great, especially if you're a male.

Their healthcare system is second to none--even Cuba. If you're a gay male, there's even free gender reassignment surgery!

They may need to up the enlistment age.

Well, you’d only need to do that if the majority of males disagree with what they’re doing.
 
The biggest hope for Iran being victorious would be if the Democrats regain control of congress in November.

True. I believe they will win. Think about it. Trump took from Medicare to give tax cuts to the 1%. Things like this is why they will win.

Oh come on…I’m not as old as you, but I’ve been hearing this same line since Clinton’s days in office, then it was Obama’s days in office, and then Biden. And guess what, we’re still a functioning country. 🙄

You had conservatives and liberals (and Rush Limbaugh) back in the Clinton era but not nearly as divided as they are now! What happened during the Biden administration was flat out scary and I shudder to think of what might have been if Kamala Harris was elected! I believe what has been going on in Canada would be a precurser plus the radical left would be firmly entrenched to the point that a conservative Republican would never again win an election. The woke agenda will be at the forefront and the gospel will be criminalized and pastors will be silenced! I hope I am wrong but we should be prepared for the worst.

What has also been bad for us is that all of the nutcase "Word of Faith" types have been influencing our present administration and this will no doubt blow up in our faces!

You make some good points here. I am not quite as pessimistic in my view, but I do think we’re trending toward Canada regardless. Trump’s election has slowed it down a bit, but it’s still coming.

That’s what they said about Obama and we were just fine. Actually, we were better under Obama than Trump. I’m no fan of Obama but it’s just the truth. There’s really not much difference if any. It only gets worse and it will only continue to get worse.

People made it through the Great Depression you just gotta keep moving forward as best you can keeping a positive attitude. Some days are better than others.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this is life for everyone in America. People make it one way or another. We figure it out.

The older I’ve gotten the more I realize, how much I don’t know about life and the way things work. That’s ok with me it doesn’t scare me because no one has ever since time began has ever known much.

God is good and has been more than good to me. I have no understanding how he works but I do know he is good. I’m sure of the gospel that’s about it :-)

Obama was the most divisive president in the history of our country. He literally set back race relations at least 50 years with all of the "black lives matter" and "critical theory" nonsense! It waned considerably and then came back with a vengeance with COVID and O'Biden only added fuel to the fire! The "Alphabet" people haven't received much press coverage lately leaving many to believe that they are now irrelevant but they have not gone anywhere!

What we are seeing is a literal insurgency whereby the radical left is dead-set on taking over and destroying everything our country has ever stood for. They are looking for a "Great Reset" whereby all of the wealth is redistributed and the American Dollar becomes worthless (replaced by a "world currency"). Everyone on the radical left is poised and ready for war while everyone else is lazy and complacent hoping things will just continue about the way things have always been.

Economic hardship is one thing. We can get through such times so long as we stick together, work together, and look out one for another. The problem is that we are no longer "One Nation Indivisible!" We are obsessed with multi-culturalism to the point that we are oblivious to the things that once united and held us together as "One Nation under God!"

God is sovereign and remains on the throne no matter what but the scripture telling us that "Judgment must first begin with the house of God" is quite frightening! I cannot help but think that this day of reckoning may very well be at hand!

If the Democrats gain a sufficient majority, another impeachment will undoubtedly be at the very forefront of the Democrat agenda. If they are successful in removing President Trump, they will then go after any and everyone else who were closely aligned with Trump beginning with his administration, other elected officials, and going down to anyone who ever supported him! Trump is not a Nazi but they will erradicate "MAGA" as if they were Nazi and they will weaponize the justice department, IRS, and anyone else they can use to do their bidding! It was going on with O'Biden and it will return with a vengeance when the proper time comes.
