This thread highlights several serious problems with the FFF. People making stuff up out of whole cloth and when challenged on it not responding or backing up their bogus claims. Not one person on this thread who has advocated for the proper use of corporal punishment has said that corporal punishment is the best method of corrective action in discipline. Nobody in this thread who thinks corporal punishment is a valid tool to be used has pushed that it be used exclusively, or as a first order of business, but several folk have lied and either implied or stated such falsehoods about corporal punishment advocates. When called on their misrepresentations, they just obfuscate, or disappear and ignore the challenge to their inferior arguments. How can honest dialogue be had when such disingenuous methods are used, particularly among professing Christians?
And for the record, I do understand the essence of Bruh's point (which is essentially "don't dish it out if you can't take it") but I think that picking the scab of TRT's current housing and job situation is hitting below the belt IMHO.
