Hasn't this been posted on the forum before?

Sounds very familiar.

Unless it involves women dressing like they did in Bible times.... Which seems to be about 1900-1950, it is an abomination to think otherwise.

It?s as fresh as Don Boys quoting the KJV while his wife doesn?t wear pants.  :)

"Preach against sin, but teach us how to love sinners."

I guess Jonathon Edwards wouldn't be a popular preacher these days with the millennials.

Do you not believe old Jonathan loved sinners?

I didn't post that as a guide for us to follow...I believe these millennials are...well millennials!  :)

I think their 'Grace over moralism' point is well taken.

As to preaching being 'reasonable and conversational'...I'm not sure how they would define either.
'Dream with us'? Sounds so millennial! Their dreams are nightmares to the Old Path-ers.
They want to 'worship passionately'...whatever that might mean.

That was my point. No greater love can be given to sinners than to warn them about their destination .......by giving them the gospel

Uhhh you do know that Edwards wasn't popular with his own church members who eventually voted him out right?
