Annoying Email Updates

I am suddenly getting emails when a thread has a new post.  Due to the number of posts, this is getting real annoying real fast.  Is there a fix to this?  It just started this week.

Both. not sure where the emails are coming from.

In tapatalk, you may have hit the star which subscribes you to a thread and a litany of emails
