Ask the young black man in Detroit, that this Native American stomped into a welcome mat, in a gas station last Christmas.
He'll tell you.
That when a young black man walks towards you eyeballing your wallet, you toss his degenerate carcass through the snack shelf by his throat.
Then you stomp his head a few times.
The very image of Jesus right there. :
No, in Jesus's story, I would've been armed:
Luk 11:21
21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
Right...does that come before or after the "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you..."
Oh, that's right! You're treating a side portion of one parable about the kingdom of God in the same fashion as a direct command from Jesus...one you are clearly in violation of.
Of course, you would pretend that there is never a threat to be dealt with by force, ever.
And here you would be wrong. I'm fine with dealing with threats by force...threats
to others. Of course, it's easier to argue a point when you've shoved the other person in a box.
Nicodemus shared the inability to even understand the Earthly aspect of Jesus's parables with you.
I understand the earthly aspects fine. I also don't dissect each part of the parable and make points from the individual pieces because that's just terrible hermeneutics.
They were planning to jack me, and I changed their mind.
The soldiers were planning on jacking Jesus. He defeated evil by surrender, not by being the last person standing.
I expected you to pipe up about this.
You have some kind of hang-up when it comes to race.
Oh really...do enlighten me.
Dangerous Black men usually have a fatal overconfidence, and the mistaken idea that others will be intimidated. Same goes for most evil men, I suppose.
Strange...your story reeks of someone who has a fatal overconfidence and the idea that others will be intimidated. Evil actions indeed.

Go ahead and get robbed if you like, even killed.
There will be nice things said about you at your funeral.
As for me, nobody's taking the food from my 8 kids' mouth without dealing with their earthly protector, as an example of the Heavenly One.
I didn't expect the man to be intimidated.
I never said word one to him.
I beat him into a state in which he could no longer pose a threat.
I did it by myself, to one who was not alone.
I did it in the "wrong neighborhood".
Of course, you will criticize.
So be it.
I've never been popular for taking on bullies.
