Are Conservatives Adopting Cancel Culture

People posting this kind of crap never heard the base message Charlie wanted to send.

The "hand signals" guy happened to be Frank Turek, a well-known apologist and one of Kirk's friends and mentors. Being an eyewitness to the murder right at the scene, you can believe he was one of the first people the police would have questioned.

The existence of "off" conspiracy theories is evidence of nothing more than "off" conspiracy theorists. It was ages before JFK conspiracists about a second shooter started making the rounds. The Internet just lets the crackpots share their crackpottery around the world more quickly.

Do you remember Stephen Paddock, the guy who killed sixty people in Las Vegas? Still awaiting a motive for that grisly scene. Something immediately seemed off then too. Just saying.

Just saying what? That the two are somehow connected?

Something seems immediately off about these events because there is something off. Usually it's the shooter, who is off his or her rocker.

Despite copious amounts of jingoistic populism from many speakers Turek gave a good presentation of substitutionary and sacrificial atonement.

Stephen Paddock was the shooter, not the victim's friend standing next to him on the stage. The only thing "off," apart from the criminals going around shooting people, is your comparison. I fail to understand the connection you appear to be drawing between these two events. I can be fairly certain no one else has tried to relate them before.

The thing that's off is the government's response to this. Charlie Kirks personal friends say so as well.

As Ekk mentioned….It’s the PR response (or lack thereof) by the the government. In some cases, it’s very obvious that we’re being fed some bull soup.

No, it's not so obvious.

It's.clear that Trump and some members of his cabinet don't properly understand the limits the constitution places on them, hence the alleged pressure on ABC to remove Jimmy Kimmel. Yes, lots of people have said that's an overreach. I suggested as much myself earlier. But what you are suggesting, without evidence, is that the administration is manufacturing a pretext for that action.

Despite copious amounts of jingoistic populism from many speakers Turek gave a good presentation of substitutionary and sacrificial atonement.
Not that anyone will be surprised but I found the jingoism misplaced. And Turek could not have been clearer on identifying Jesus as the sole path to salvation. My prayer is that the lost man will be Spirit led to separate the two thoughts.

The gospel was clearly spoken. God please use the message to reach the lost.

You lost me on this one. His friends are saying what is off?

Yes, it’s “off” due to that pretext. We’re not getting the whole story just like in Nevada. Something smells fishy.

You should let Tyler Robinson's attorneys know. They'll be relieved that your sense of smell will most likely exonerate him once it overturns that mountain of physical evidence.

Who said anything about that scum being exonerated? Certainly not me. I think you’re putting words in my mouth. I don’t think the released texts to be authentic. I also don’t believe that his trans lover wasn’t involved. I also believe the government is exploiting the situation for political gain. Something is askew.

Hegseth and Rubio also did well.

Then if you have better evidence then your smell test, present it. Otherwise...

Well, unfortunately I don’t have legal access to their phone account and text messages, so I have to take at face value what was released to the public. However, it seems that the texts are meeting skepticism across the political aisles: https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/...-charlie-kirk-killer-fuel-conspiracy-theories

Regarding my comment about political exploitation, well, I think that’s pretty evident. Trump doesn’t miss an opportunity, if you haven’t noticed.

And do you not believe the trans lover wasn’t involved? If we actually do accept the texts as fact, what further evidence do you need to not call him part of crime?? https://www.newsweek.com/tyler-robinson-roommate-lance-twiggs-charlie-kirk-texts-2130798

Al Jazeera ... LOL. All the news the Qatari government deems fit to print.

I don't know that he was involved. The evidence at face value suggests he wasn't involved but turned to cooperating with authorities. Perhaps something will come to light later that implicates him. I won't be surprised either way.

If the verified links to the tweets are there, it doesn’t really matter what the publisher is, does it?
