Depends. A tweet, all of 280 characters, is hardly "context." And social media is probably around as credible as Wikipedia.

What first struck me was the order to lower the flags flown to half mast. Kirk wasn't a dignitary or head of state. Trump gave the order for his ally. Whether on the right side or not, it vulgarizes the gesture.

However, in less than two weeks, we've had a Day of Remembrance established, a huge memorial, and Bibi falling all over himself citing the Holocaust.

No matter how you slice it, this is striking while the iron's hot.

It's all fake.
 
Oh, and his friends are Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. They were his friends. Close friends and confidants.
