Are 'Real' Catholics as Conservative as Evangelicals? Still no.

I was raised Catholic (in a very devout Catholic family and area) and was saved in an IFBx church at 25 so I found this interesting.

I have a few thoughts, but I don’t wanna bias your impression and take-away on the article. What stands out to you?

My question would be, how does geography impact the data? In other words, how does a “conservative Catholic” from Charleston or New Orleans compare to a “conservative Catholic” from New York or Chicago. I think the geography is more impactful than the author understands.

Mostly, it's the high number of Catholics that approve of abortion.
not among the ones i know.... ... they are all still very conservative on the issues of abortion and transgenders.... lgtbqrsp+ etc.. ... many are fans of john henry westin... a very conservative catholic who has challenged the pope on many issues...... . they even believe the catholic church should continue the latin mass...

but the one thing they are very liberal on is undocumented immigration... they believe scripture teaches against national borders and against christians supporting a ban on willy nilly travel across borders.... .. that;s one of the areas i disagree with them on.. .. but i can;t be too hard on them for it coz i use to be fairly liberal myself where immigration is concerned.... .. however - that was before democrats tried to weaponize immigration for the purposes of enabling voter fraud and swinging elections
