Is there someone smart there we can do trade negotiations with? President Trump is having the terrible twos again. Or, as he has been officially renamed in Canada, Cletus McCheeto.
 
I wish I knew how to play Chess better. Then maybe I'd be partially able to understand these 4-D Chess moves.

That's been evident ever since he ran the first time, and well before. He's a self-absorbed, immature windbag of a man. He loves the sound of his own voice. I can only listen to so much of his droning, monotone voice before I have to turn the channel. He claims we're gaining all of these trillions of $$$ in the treasury, but none of us have seen one penny of it. Remember the $4500 checks he was talking about that went down to $900, and then disappeared from the conversation all together? He's done SOME good things for the country, but, IMHO he's done a LOT of harmful things. Anyhow, rant over!

He could have named it Lake Trump for all I actually care, because his EO has no force of law up here to change the name of anything. He's just trolling our prime minister for pushing back on his trade tariffs, because he's got the personality of a 5-year-old.

As a point of trivia, the province was named after the lake, not the other way around.
 
Wasn't it just a few days ago that he was declaring the Strait of Hormuz a US territory? I don't get the obsession with naming and declaring things that are nothing more than pointless rhetoric.

Apparently it works insofar as everyone's talking about it.

Whether it's effective at achieving his intended goal is another matter. Iran doesn't seem to be blinking, and he's touched off a wave of patriotism in Canada that we haven't had since our previous PM declared us all genocidal maniacs. (And for a country that already virtually defines patriotism as being not-the-US, that's saying something.)

Lake Burger - no way. The Governor of Wisconsin has already renamed Lake Michigan "Lake Wisconsin." (Two can play the rename game).

At this time of national and international crises, it is comforting to know that our Fearless Leader is focusing like a laser beam on the really important stuff, like renaming lakes, the Kennedy Center, the Ballroom, the Reflecting Pool, putting his "spooky glare" mug on coins and passports, etc.

He said he MIGHT declare the Strait of Hormuz a US territory...let him try it. I don't think he'll get much support, even from his MAGA base. It's just more bluster from the baboon!
