Scott Gray is the son of Bob Gray of Longview Baptist Temple. Was on staff for a time at FBCH, so I assume some sort of Hyles clone. Apart from that, they're unknown to me too.

I didn't know any of them . Which is a good thing...........

According to this post, Scott Gray is the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina, a King James Only church - their doctrinal statement says "We believe the King James Version is the preserved Word of God for the English-speaking people." Scott's ministry has been endorsed by his father, Bob Gray Sr.

Scott Gray is aligned with Paul Chappell/Lancaster Baptist Church/West Coast Baptist College:

C.T. Townsend was the speaker for the Burlington Tent Revival some years ago.
There seems to be some controversy over this Conference, I think because Kenny Baldwin was a speaker.

For those not familiar with Kenny Baldwin, apparently he raised eyebrows by singing a song by Big Daddy Weave at Crown College in 2014 - talk about the "Big Daddy" of all musical controversies:

Those with long memories will recall that the ruckus over Northland International University participating in a Big Daddy Weave concert helped to hasten the demise of that college:

More recently he received criticism for a ‘Worship Night’ at his church. There was a thread about it here a couple of weeks ago.

CT Townsend is the pastor of the Victory Baptist Church in N. Augusta, SC. My late sister and her husband used to be members there, and my wife and I attended there when "Booger" Brown was pastor. They have the Victory Baptist College there.

Safe to say David Cloud and Louser Martuneac care more about Big Daddy Weave than the rest of us.

If Cloud thought the Gettys were "out-and-out rockers," he'd have a stroke at a piano ballad like "Redeemed"...

Cloud does have a lot of good information on his site, but his pharisaical attitude, tearing down of other people's ministries, and hateful reactions to those who disagree lead many to depart from he faith, or those who don't know Christ and are open to the call for salvation to turn away.

I don't know how many people have departed from the faith because of Cloud--who strikes me as much more of an influence in his own mind and the tiny pond of fundamentalism, than the real world.

He's certainly gone a long way to cause me not to consider independent Baptist fundamentalism as a viable option.

"Booger Brown"? Is that someone I should know?

DR. Larry Brown (not the tv smasher guy from Hyles Anderson). Larry Brown used to preach a lot of camp meetings and revivals in the Carolinas and the surrounding areas.

The Arise meeting is causing quite a division among the IFB's in this area.

Yes, Larry Brown. He was good friends with my former pastor, Terry Wilson who pastored the Providence Baptist Church in Augusta Georgia. Pastor Wilson later worked at the college and as an evangelist after his resignation from Providence.

Sounds like someone you'd set out the second-best table linen for if you invited him to dinner.
I don't really remember how he got the name, but, if I recall correctly it was given to him during his middle or secondary school days. He was actually a pretty decent preacher and servant of the Lord.
