I am pretty sure that all of us are on board in calling Mr. Assad a sick, wicked, evil person.

Yet, every one of you believe in and worship a God who created a situation in which human beings are daily being consigned to a state of eternal torment in a Lake of Fire.

Talk about sick!
What is sick in your worldview? What is evil? Why is this bad?

Ahh... the "I don't have an answer, so I will just say some inane thing" approach.

Without God, you have no basis for morality.

Assad is willingly doing as he pleases. Before God gets the blame, certainly many in this world have the power to stop Assad. In fact, this all could have been prevented, except we had a president who drew a line in the sand which meant nothing.

Route_70, why don't you share some of this blame for doing nothing to prevent this before you blame God?

Route_70... you are a sick man!

The truth is that we can not know what would have happen if Obama has acted on the line drawn. Trump at the time tweeted for Obama not to bomb Syria. There is no way you can say that action would have definitely prevented the action. Reality is that Assad know who is President know and that didn't stop him.

We know what happened since Obama didn't act. We got the worst case scenario. Chemical ware fare on children.

If there is no God, then whether Assad is evil or not is a moot point

You are saying that if indeed God does not exist then what Assad is doing is just fine with you.  You are saying that without God we cannot know that what Assad did in dropping those chemical bombs is evil.

What ignorance!

No. If there is no God, and if there is no afterlife, then the best thing to resort to is nihilism then, isn't it? Life has no purpose, and giving it a false purpose just serves to forget how worthless your life is for a few seconds, why not let some guy destroy us and get it over with? At least a few animals might survive and they'll be able to treat the planet like it should be. And then, since there will be no God to blame, it can be no-one's fault that any of this ever happened!

Isn't atheism FUN?

Boom! Assad is about to meet God on not so friendly terms

We know what Obama did not do. We don't know if the case scenario would have been better if he had acted. You may not like how Obama handled it and think he could have handled it better that would have resulted in a better outcome but to say you know is just foolish.

He didn't handle it. He faked a "red line"

2013... chemical attack hundreds killed. Obama caves

2015... chemical attack again... not a peep from Obama

2017... Trump delivers

Obama's threats were a laughingstock around the world. Syria was emboldened and knew Obama was ineffective.

There is no God.

Psalm 14:1a (NKJV)...The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God"
And even then, RT 70 is still lying because;
Romans1:18 For God?s wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth, 19 since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse. 21 For though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles.

Even if there was no God, I contend a moral lifestyle centered around others results in a happier life here on earth. Immorality and vices lead to addiction, pain and unhappiness. The worldly, immoral lifestyle often leads to pain, regret and sometimes incarceration. It often leads to emptiness and discontent.  A life spent helping others brings great joy and satisfaction and mixed with a little sadness. I hurt for those who choose the wrong path but rejoice with those in which I have made a difference.

I would not trade my 55 years of serving others for a bank full of money and all the power in the world. Prove to me there is no God and I would stop preaching salvation, but I would not change my lifestyle or my moral standards. I would continue to live bible Christianity because it appears to bring happiness and satisfaction. Living a humanistic lifestyle centered on self is not the path I choose to walk.

Then you violate Scripture by "being like a fool" (Prov 26.4) even trying to justify ANYTHING without God is futile. God is the source of all knowledge and wisdom and happiness/joy. What you did is make an argument for moralism. There is no presupposing "no God". It's an intellectual mistake to even presume that point.

You sound as logical as the great scientist Richard Dawkins.

?The fact that life evolved of nearly nothing, some 10 billion years after the universe evolved out of literally nothing is a fact so staggering that I would be mad to attempt words to do it justice? -
