I saved my copy for a long time and noticed the same. After a few decades, it was past time to get rid of it.Has anyone noticed the handwritten dedication to "my friend Jennie Nischik"
by Jack Hyles (Jackie-boy) in the book he wrote entitled Blue Denim and Lace?
I found this copied page but no longer have the book to check.
Can someone find their copy from the 60's or 70's?

I threw all my books out . I haven't lost any sleepI saved my copy for a long time and noticed the same. After a few decades, it was past time to get rid of it.
I have a family member that threw away his "How to Raise Children" book also.
i rmember what my sister said about that... .. our dad still had his books from hyles andersen until they left texas.... .. but they weren;t being used for study.... .. they were however being put to a good use... ..... ..when she was little and still learning to read - she realized one day that the name hyles was on all the books holding up the ends of their furniture where the floors were uneven and warped... .. they lived in a really old house that was ready to be condemned.... ..I threw all my books out . I haven't lost any sleep
I don't remember the handwritten note either. To clarify, I remember that acknowledgement in a printed format.I don't know if I still have Blue Denim or not, but I don't remember the handwritten note.
I've never seen this. It may be that Jennie Nischick was the first person to make him believe that his "philosophies" were marketable. And that is all that is contained in that book if my memory serves me correctly. Given the events that were to come afterward, it is interesting.Has anyone noticed the handwritten dedication to "my friend Jennie Nischik"
