Just read where Ergun Caner's 15 yr old son took his life over the weekend. The boy had been bullied relentlessly by grown men after he dared to defend his father. Apparently this had gone on for some time. The attacks on Ergun have been pretty constant for a few years now. Evidently they have been quite nasty and when the boy stepped in and got no slack due to his age. Folks, please understand that unless you're involved God really doesn't need you to jump in and do His job for Him. he especially doesn't need you to jump in years after the fact.

Where do you get your information about the bullying from?

Spitfire showed me a tweet from Todd Starnes. I believe He's connected with Fox News.

I have done some searching and I can't find any connection whatsoever to Todd Starnes and Braxton Caner.

So far as I know, Hall's criticism of Braxton's Twitter timeline was a one-time criticism, a month ago.

While it's possible that there's a connection between the attacks on Ergun Caner and his son's suicide, I have my doubts until something more concrete actually comes up.

I had an uncle that committed suicide when I was a teenager. I'm not sure that my aunt ever knew every reason behind that decision. In White's article, he points out (rightly) that outside of the immediate family, there's no ground for speculation as to why this happened. He has spent time as a hospital chaplain, so I'm sure he is speaking from experience there.

If you scroll down in his timeline to July 30-31, there is nothing but sympathy for the family, mostly retweeted from others (Johnny Hunt, Rick Warren, etc.).

Edit: Also: I Expect Better from Fox News Reporter Todd Starnes, per FBC Jax Watchdog

Spitfire is my wife. What she showed me was written by Todd Starnes. It was on her phone. I think it was from Twitter. It sounded like there were more people involved than this Hall cat.

From what I can see, the only "cat" which engaged Braxton was Hall, and in very shameful ways.  Shame on him for doing so.  Shame on Starnes for using this tragedy to attacks critics of Ergun who have expressed condolences and extended compassion in the wake of this tragedy.
