What's Happening at Horne's?
Although this article was published on the college website in April, the project is now nearing completion. Purchased by Ambassador Baptist College in 2005, the old Horne's Supermarket building in Lattimore, North Carolina, is finally being renovated for student use. Throughout the 2023-24 academic year, the Kennedy Library will transition from the main campus into the new facility. Students will be able to utilize a whopping 5,000 square feet of additional space when the new library opens, as well as a 1,000-square-foot awning at the front of the structure.
No official word has been given on whether the Dr. David L. Cummins Graduate Study Library will move to the new property or remain in its current location.
