As for the OP....I got this.
In '83 I was 'dating' this guy. I say 'dating' because it was more like mercy dates because I felt sorry for him but anyhoo...
One day he told me that he was looking for some railroad spikes. I asked him what on earth for?
It seems he was preaching on the night bus that week and wanted to preach on the crucifixion. Complete with nailing his hands to a board.
