Hmmm…good question that got me thinking. I can answer yes to all of these questions except the documentary one. Well, I guess I can’t say I’ve built a house, but I’ve bought and sold a few. Not sure if that counts though. However, I’ve swam with alligators nearby, so that should count for something.

i helped build a massive treehouse in the roots/trunks of a banyan tree once... ... it was all bamboo except for the tarp which was made of a salvaged main sail.... ..
it was our hunting shelter in the ka;au crater for many years where i hunted wild hogs with a longbow - then butchered the hogs i killed myself on the spot.... tied their front legs to their back legs and wore the carcass like a backpack to carry it out of the rainforest... .
.. so yeah... i have some unique capabilities....... ..... and since most of that meat was delivered to a company that handles luaus... .. you could also say i fed hungry people... ........ and when we weren;t hunting i was usually teaching archery ... mostly to children and was both an inspiration and a mentor to many of them..
... ...hopefully that means my life amounts to something.... .. but you can;t account for other peoples opinions.... and as we know - opinions vary.....
if a documentary was made of me i would want to be played by emily compagno.... i don;t look like her other than having the same hair.... sort of the same skin color..... .... but everybody i know says i talk too fast like she does and sound exactly like her...... .... ..
of course to portray me she would have to learn to surf and also how to spearfish while freediving in the same vicinity as tiger sharks - ...
.... i don;t even know for certain if she knows how to swim.....

.... ...i love to collect matchbox cars.. ... but unfortunately they haven;t made a rainforest bow hunter for wild hogs adventure pack yet....... ....but i do keep an eye on the catalogs none the less.... ..

I forgot until just now when you triggered my memory, but a few weeks ago I saw a show on YouTube about a guy duck hunting with a bow. And the arrows have lights on them, which I didn’t know was even a thing. You might enjoy it:i have a good idea for something to put on your christmas list....

thanks.. i;ll check that out..... . lighted arrow nocks have been around for a while.. .. they work almost like a tracer and are really awesome for tracking where your arrows end up if a shot is missed or passes through and ends up in deep grass or brush......it makes a lost arrow easier to find.... ....
we use to play with them at night at the archery range by combining an arrow with a lighted nock with a whistling arrow head... ... ......it made some pretty awesome displays seeing the lighted arrow arc through the night sky whistling at the same time........ ..i still have some of the nocks but the batteries in the them are all dead now.. probaby corroded since i haven;t checked them in a long time.... ..they can only be used with hollow shaft arrows such as aluminim or carbon..... ..

but i will say this.. ....nothing says you are living in a persons head like seeing them start a thread for the purpose of slamming you.... then watching them amp it up to the point of bragging on themselves and comparing their accomlishments - as they see them... to what they think your accomplishments are.... ..
Ransom’s good people. I’ve known him off and on for probably 25 years (mostly off). I can say I’ve learned a lot from reading his posts over the years.
