This is a fascinating read.  Read the whole thing.  It's worth it.  Don't just jump to the end where he sums up his observations this way: black criminals are most likely to lack fathers and caring mothers, and that they and their "families" all live on the public dole without feeling any compulsion to work or better themselves.

Here's what I find most fascinating:  He says that he still believes we should provide for people who can work but refuse to do so.  And then he wraps it up by saying he doesn't know the solution to the problem of black crime.

URL Deleted - don't want people to click through to a white supremacist site.

Did you happen to read the About Us info at that site? They're a white supremecist group.

Consider the source.

It is a white supremacist website but I think the article isn't from a white supremacist!

I do like the quote at the top of the page.

There is not a truth existing which I fear... or would wish unknown to the whole world......

The article is definitely a little tinted.

No, I didn't read the About Us.  The source is the author of the article, though.  I'm more likely to question the author than the site, and there might be a good reason to question the author since it is a pen name.  However, I'm still inclined to think the author is part of the problem, since he's in favor of entitlements to people who are unwilling to take care of themselves.

EDIT:  I'm also tempted to call shenanigans because this piece doesn't seem to be sourced from another site.  I can't imagine any self-identified liberal would believe in giving entitlements to people unwilling to support themselves, and still write a piece for a white supremacist site.  It makes me think the whole thing was made up.

The author comes across as a wolf in sheep's clothing.  He shows his true colors in the second to last paragraph:

However, my experience has also taught me that blacks are different by almost any measure to all other people. They cannot reason as well. They cannot communicate as well. They cannot control their impulses as well. They are a threat to all who cross their paths, black and non-black alike.

A blanket statement such as this indicates ingrained racial prejudice.  He is prejudging an entire race based solely on his experience as a public defender of people accused of crimes.
