Curious about moved topics

When a topic gets moved (like the "True Born Again Christian Eternal Security" thread, or whatever it is called), does it actually get moved, or just twinned in the source and destination forums?

I just ask out of curiosity, because I saw that the thread was exactly the same in two forums.

The duplicate threads were started in two different places. I deleted the one without any replies. I moved the other to its appropriate place.

The one you moved was actually duplicated - I responded in the Fighting Forum, and became the latest post in the Cal/Arm forum.

However, I see now that it's disappeared from the Fighting Forum. I guess when you move a topic, it lingers for a little while.
