This was Dave Hyles' Wordpress blog, from which he intended to drive his "Ministry of Restoration."

It didn't go so well.

What's your point?

What's yours?

Trying to figure out your reason for posting this about DH.

I am asking you to be plain in your assertions don't make people wonder where you stand on DH.

If you think he has ever properly apologized that would be incorrect.

These were highly public and nationwide over at least three decades.

He needs to ask forgiveness from each and every one of the hundreds of girls he did throughout his high school days while living at 8232 Greenwood and in his twenties and thirties. It needs to be put in book form or web site for easy reference in perpetuity. It needs to be unambiguously owned up to as a lifestyle of wicked whore-mongering.

I'm not aware he was ever this honest.

I am in your camp on this.  See my comments on his Fallen In Grace FB page, if they have not been deleted by now.

Ok, thanks, carry on.

When I saw this I almost choked on my tea.....

We could write a book on this subject......Several people have spoken my words...

May we never forget !!

I would settle for hearing David Hyles confess just one sin once.

?Some would have us confess our sins endlessly. Instead we should confess them but once and then give thanks for His forgiveness endlessly. (DH)?

"God no longer views my sin as unrighteousness".

Anyone have a problem with this quote?

earnestly contend

"God creates all His masterpieces with broken things thrown by the curb as junk by others. (DH)"

"God never cleanses excused sin but he always excuses confessed sin. (DH)"

He is so arrogant.  These two quotes appeared today.

In the first quote he blames others for his problems.

Regarding the second quote, has he ever confessed to anything?

That's in the same league as, "Great Men have Great Needs."

I would think that Abraham (the Friend of God) may be considered a "masterpiece"; I don't see how Abraham fits the first quote.  Nor Noah, for that matter.  Nor Enoch.

The second quote may sound quaint, but God never "excuses" sin - He forgives sin, and He knows the hearts of men - He knows if a confession comes from a repentant heart or from someone trying to get away with his sin.

Yes.  Huge problem.  Total lack of understanding.

Mat 6:22 ? Mat 6:23
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

earnestly contend

Dr. David Hyles, sponsored by his friend David Baker, pastor of Family Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee, is so arrogant that he has forgotten about Isaiah 64:6: "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."

David Hyles thinks that God doesn't even see his unrighteousnesses as filth rags.
