There we have it. The Dems recognize that they have so many problems with the #metoo movement that they are just now abandoning Bill Clinton in their midterms.

Two decades of decadence will hopefully be forgotten because they are not wanting Bill to help campaign?

Or, are they finding it difficult to bring unsubstantiated accusations against others when they haven't even dealt with their substantiated ones?

Politics makes for some strange bedfellows. Wait?! Did I say "bed?" O well!

What would you like the Democrats to do with Bill Clinton?  There is nothing to resign from at this point.

Funny for you to worry about Clinton when Trump is in the White House.

Trump hasn?t been with an intern in the White House, or anyone else, has he?

I agree. They did the same thing with Clinton what today's Evangelicals are doing with Trump.

But it looks like only one of the two is repenting. ;)

It's fun watching Dems and Libs, who have championed Clinton for all these years get all moralistic when a Republican has accusations.

Their convenient moralism reaks of so much political depression. They don't win... so, they create and believe any and all accusation!

How about the $130,000 paid out to Stormy Daniels?

Where have I seen this before.... Oh I remember...

So it doesn't puzzle you that FSSL is worried about what Bill Clinton did 20 years ago (he was impeached for lying to Congress) but not concerned about what Trump did just before the election?

Dems haven?t cared about Clinton for decades. He?s their hero. In fact, they were not even concerned about Hillary (the accomplice).

All they care about are the ?facts? called accusations.

I could care less what FSSL is worried about. He is an adult that can think freely. Once he starts spewing talking points like you and SC, then I will worry about his mental health.

So Trump's lawyer has admitted to paying the money to Stormy Daniels. How is that an accusation and not a fact?

Evangelicals beat up on Clinton about his immorality for years but don't seem to care about anything that Trumps does. How can this work for people claiming to take the moral high road?

So that means we should put you down in the column that thinks we should worry about what Bill Clinton did 20 years ago and not the money Trump paid to Stormy Daniels just before the election?

I worry about what the president does in his role as president. Democrats knew Clinton was a rapist but elected him still. That's fine, it's their vote. They even voted for his wife that openly attacked his victim(s).  Again, is their vote.  I didn't vote for a saint, I vote for the person among the candidates that seems the better of two evils. If Trump decides during his presidency to waste time and disrespect the office by screwing an intern, then I will be concerned. Until then, build the wall, do a travel ban, invest in American manufacturing and innovation, put more money in my pocket (thank you), and suck it up buttercup.

Trump?s lawyer sent the money, not Trump.

The funny thing is... Dems don?t care about scandal and sexual abuse and rape and overall abuse of women....  UNTIL a Republican becomes a political opponent.

That?s all this is ? politically-motivated faux moralism.

You don?t hear a peep out of Moore?s accusers any more. Why not? Because the politics are done!

Just two years ago Bill Clinton was speaking at the DNC. Two weeks ago Bill Clinton was honoring Fleetwood Mac. So why now? What has changed with Bill?

Mid term elections!

Dems want to weaponize the #metoo slogan at mid-terms. Dems realize their main hero will destroy that political strategy.

Dems have an utter disregard for women. It?s all a political game.

What this shows is that both Republicans and Democrats willing to overlook the sins of their own "team" while overhyping the sins of the "other team."

Had Bill Clinton been a Republican in the 90's, the conservatives would have admonished him but still supported him while the liberals would have called for his immediate impeachment.  The media would have mercilessly attacked him.

Remember, Christian Conservatives roundly criticized President Clinton long before Lewinsky because of his past affair with Geniffer Flowers and other alleged adultery.  Bill Clinton's past looks practically angelic compared to President Trumps, but the "Christian Right" loves him because of his policies.

And that is the real point......We call care about character, but we vote on policy.  It is the agenda that truly matters.  If Trump was a Democrat (well...he actually "was" a Democrat), then his personal failings would have been trumpeted from the pulpit.  He would be compared to the Anti-Christ.  Conversely, liberals would have championed him.

Practically all politics is hypocrisy.    Christians should be honest in their civil service.  We should praise the good and decry the bad, regardless of political affiliation.

I could not agree more.

I think this is the truth and it was spoken very well.

We can agree that Bill Clinton is immoral. So the fact that 19 women have come out and accused Trump of sexual misconduct, a porn star was paid $130,000 for her silence, 4 people in his administration have been criminally charged and he appears to lie so much his staff have come up with the term "alternate facts"  None of that matters unless he screws an intern in the oval office as long as he build a wall, (what sure what "do a travel ban" means) invest in American manufacturing and innovation, and put more money in your pocket.

Yes, I can see you don't want your greed and bigotry to interfere with your Christianity.

When you rely on a person like the president to be your moral compass....I can see why you're so glum.

Ah, retreating to the old liberal stand-by of, "you want to give the government less of your money, you must be greedy" and "you want to keep people from illegally entering the country, you must be a bigot".
