Trump is not an intellect he shouldn’t be running.

Vivek, is an intellectual on a whole different level. Going forward, he is my new standard for what the president should be, period.

Probably true.
Politics requires those who participate to sometimes be pragmatic, hypocritical or dirty. Or, if they choose not to be such, it puts them at a disadvantage.

This election cycle, with what the Democrat party publicly stands for, defends and fights for, pulling my lever for Trump and Republican is easier than it’s been in awhile.

I agree that Trump is not an intellectual. I disagree that should be a requirement…many intellectuals have no common sense.

I’m not a fan of Vivek. But he makes up for that because he’s such a fan of himself.
I would choose him over Biden or any other prominent Democrat though.

Thats why Democrats are openly calling for their candidate to step down.

Being an "intellectual" is not a constitutional requirement for president.

If it were, the only president in my lifetime who was actually qualified was Barack Obama, because he came out of the academy instead of being just a lawyer or career politician.

It’s definitely not a requirement. Going forward this is something I’m looking for in a president. Watching and listening to Vivek for at least 15 hours or more made me come to this realization.

I’ve never heard or seen when Trump ever provided anything of substance when it comes to a debate.

I agree that many intellectuals do not have common sense. I believe Vivek has more common sense than Trump and he’s an intellectual. It a win win in my mind.

Mostly it’s just his personality and his Trump like ego. He, like most politicians, can almost take both sides of an argument. As I said, I’d vote for him if he was my only option other than a Democrat.

Vivek would destroy any politician in a debate right now, Republican or Democrat.

so you believe could destroy any politician in a debate right now?.... .kinda funny then how vivek got destroyed in the primaries isn;t it?.. ... what was the matter?.... was he just too young and not yet mature enough to win a debate at that point in his life?... .what was it?... a few months ago?...:unsure:.. ..well they say the young mature at a faster rate than older people do... :sneaky: .. ..i agree vivek is a goog guy and might be a good president some day... .. but he has some seasoning to to do... and a whole lot to learn between now and then...... ....
