Proverbs 17:5
Whoever mocks the poor insults his Maker; he who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished.

Be careful how you celebrate: her replacement may be worse.

Since Gavin Newscum will appointing her replacement, you can bet that her replacement will likely be worse.

But until then...

Shame on the Dems and family who played "weekend at Bernies" with her for the past year!
true... but then that;s what democrats do....whether it;s someone in an advanced state of decline and completely out of it ...with no thoughts of their own anymore... ... or deteriorated just enough so they can be controlled and influenced... ..as long as that person is breathing and has a big image and a big name that can hold a position of power.. ..... they prop them up and lead them stumbling around in a stupor to help push their agenda..... in a way they did it with ginsburg.... and they are definitely doing it with biden.... ...

but i have heard of rich families doing the same thing when the family patriarch reaches the end of life and the family realizes their death will cause the family fortune to be split several different ways... even to the point the grand mansion they have all lived in and enjoyed will be sold or their lavish lifestyle will change.... ..they go into overdrive spending thousands even millions on medical personnel and equipment to keep that person alive - long past the point where they even know what year or time of day it is.....and then keep them on artificial life support for years after they are basically brain dead.... ......it;s shameful to say the least...

Where are we going and what are we doing in this hand basket?

Black, woman, lesbian, from the opposite side of the country from California ... man, she checks all the diversity boxes.
Too passé…what about those missing boxes: transgender, Satanist and disabled? C’mom Gavin, time to go more progressive.

As some has said, judgment is not coming, it is already here!
I agree. I watched the 2nd Republican debate and Tim Scott thinks America is going in the right direction. We're already lost so far I don't think there is any chance. In A country where children in public schools can change their gender and the teachers are not allowed to tell the parents. And they'd probably be jailed if they did. I'd say we're too far gone.

I think not.

Over and over when God's people turned from him and his ways he sent judgement; including pestilence, famine and even capitivity.

We still live better than most of the world and still have freedom to attend church and to spread the gospel.

I suspect God's judgement is coming though and there will be no doubt when it arrives.

Firstly, we are not talking about "God's People."

Secondly, I had Romans 1 in mind where God simply lifts his hand of Common Grace which restrains sin and allows mankind to freely pursue the lusts and desires of the flesh in full abandonment, That seems to be going on right now and yes, this was the judgment of God on a society in which Paul was speaking.

And the only real differences between Republicans and Democrats these days is that the Democrats want to take your money and guns away from you while you live with moral abandonment and the Republicans want to let you keep your money and Guns while you life with total moral abandonment!

Everything else that follows (hail mingled with fire, famines, pestilences, Etc.) are simply the natural consequences.

The Conservative US Supreme Courts multiple decisions, including decisions on religious rights at work and reversal of Roe V Wade to name a couple.

The political parties are not the answer, but there is still a major difference in the two.

Take a look at the political platform for the Democrats any time in the past 10 years and you will see.

I would really like to be optimistic here! Honestly.

I was elated when Roe v. Wade was overturned but look at the backlash of what was supposed to be the "Red Wave?" Does the overturning of Roe v. Wade reflect public opinion or the opinion of a Supreme Court that just happens to be skewed to the right? I think this alone speaks volumes regarding the true spiritual condition of our country!

I do vote and I am certain the way I vote is much like the way you vote. One party at least pays "Lip Service" to the things that I care about so I will vote and then I will PRAY!

But what if we were living in the Kingdom of Judaea during the time of Jeremiah's ministry right after the reign of Josiah? On what side would the "Trump Supporters" fall? With Jeremiah the Prophet or with King Jeconiah who would defy the King of Babylon?

I really believe it is time for Men of God to step away from the politics and PREACH THE WORD OF GOD!

But that's just me.

And yes, I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee!

I'll vote for anyone running against Biden. The GOP has been a sorry disappointment ever since the end of the Reagan administration.

Godly people do need to get out and vote but like you said, BR, that's no substitute for personal holiness and the proclamation of the Gospel.
