Do You Suffer From Israel Derangement Syndrome?

Here’s the thing, Trump said we’d be in and out in 2 weeks. It hasn’t been 2 weeks yet. Now, after 2 weeks maybe and I mean maybe we might have something to criticize but you gotta wait the 2 weeks people.

And look, if we gotta put boots on the ground then we gotta put boots on the ground. Hey, I’m all for it, but look I support our government and the war. It’s gonna be ugly and many will die but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

Also, Iran was weeks away from a nuclear weapon. Bibi has been saying this since the 90’s. Look Israel gave us the US the intelligence that said Afghanistan had nuclear weapons……we know how that turned out. To Americas benefit. We are now much more safe and Iraq has been westernized. They have strip malls, their women drive and have rights, McDonald’s it’s awesome over there.

I mean look, isn’t that what they told us, that we were gonna westernize Iraq? That’s what happened.

You just gotta give it two weeks.

Israel is our greatest ally. Just ask Jonathan Pollard.
I have 5 grandsons who are draft age. I'm delighted that you are willing to sacrifice them. How many of your grandson's or sons lives are you willing to sacrifice?

Sooooo, if you have ever seen my back and forth about the current war you’d know I am being completely sarcastic.

I myself, have 3 boys that are currently the draft age. I actually had one that graduated this year from high school that wanted to join the marines. After many lengthy talks he decided not to join.

Believe me when I say, I’m 100% against sending our boys to spill their blood on behalf of another country.

In short, I told my son that if he went and died or came back as a paraplegic it wouldn’t be for our freedoms in any way.

It was hard careful conversations. I’m very grateful for our country and I’m more than thankful for the men and women in our military. I 100% support our troops but do not support our government in the war in Iran.

Is He supposed to quote the Bible in order to believe a specific course of international policy?
Well, he is a spiritual leader. And I thought he was making a case to support the current state of Israel biblically?

Is this the Christian Identity founder?
No. He founded "A" Christian Identity church in Arkansas. Basically from what little I've read so far...God's covenant people are chosen on the basis of race...right on par with Christian Zionism.

I'm not going to delve too deeply, but it will be interesting to see how they interpret some of the prophecies.

Do you genuinely want to consider his perspective on why we should support Israel, Biblically? Enjoy…

Two take aways.

#1. He believes that the nation of Israel is not Gods people but contain Gods people. Therefore, the state of Israel preserves biblical Israel.

#2. He believes biblical Israel is still Gods people and we the saved have been grafted into biblical Israel. (If I understood him correctly)

I like Albert Mohler and respect him. However, he gave his political views and why America should support them with our military. If I understood him correctly, he believes we have an ethical obligation to support them but did not use scripture to make an argument to support them with our military and or money.

He said, we have an ethical responsibility to Israel. If that’s the case then what about other countries are we bound to them with our finances and military? Wouldn’t we have an ethical obligation to all nations all around the world at all times?

And his ministry pushes British-Israelism, the basis of Christian Identity.

I suppose you expect us to believe the name of a church in Harrison, Arkansas (a hotbed of CI) was a mere coincidence.

"Truth in History." LOL.

I apologize for not paying closer attention to your post. Thanks for the clarification.
I just had a similar conversation with family members who were trying to convince my grandson, who just graduated from high school, to join the Marines. I told them it would only happen over my dead body, and I meant it.

I’ll take a stab at this I could probably get it completely wrong.

My guess is, they do not have a son of their own to convince to do the same? Or their son already has a career or already has a family.

My wife’s family believes this war is 100% justifiable but for some reason have not talked to their oldest son (who is 20) to go and fight this patriotic war.

My experience tells me that parents that are for this war always have a reason why they wouldn’t encourage their son to join. For example, the military isn’t a good Christian atmosphere or something like this.

Therefore, the war is reasonable enough for others to send their son but not theirs. How convenient!

Why do you place that decision on his parents instead of him? He's 20.

OK. Here's what 5 minutes of research gets you, thanks to Google and my dead-tree library (specifically, Religion and the Racist Right by Michael Barkun).

Christian Identity Church, founded by Charles A. Jennings in 1982, is the present-day Christian Revival Church near Harrison, Arkansas. Its current pastor is Thom Robb, who is also the grand wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, having succeeded David Duke in that esteemed office in 1989. The church and the Klukkers appear to have the same mailing address on Lead Hill Road near Harrison.

Harrison, AR is a major hub for the Christian Identity sect, and Robb's church is a major CI ministry there. Another is Kingdom Identity Ministries, formerly the largest producer of Identity literature in the States, but apparently recently out of business (and good riddance).

Jenning's ministry Truth in History espouses British-Israelism in their doctrinal statement--the pseudohistorical foundation upon which Christian Identity rests. In other words, Jennings, a believer in Christian Identity theology, founded a church named "Christian Identity," presently pastored by a major Christian Identity personality and KKK leader, in a town known as a centre of Christian Identity activity.

Ekk really can pick his sources. :ROFLMAO:

Well, in her post she said, a couple was trying to convince her grandson to join the Marines and go fight.

I agree with you that it’s absolutely the son’s decision.

Genuinely speaking people who say they support the war aren’t encouraging their sons to go fight.

If this was WWII and I was sitting at my kitchen table and all 3 of my sons were sitting with us and we were talking about the war. I would have no issues with saying in front of my boys, I believe this is a noble and right war and although I understand the consequences if my boys go they would be making a good decision for our country.

After reading this thread I’d like to announce that I too now hate all of the Jooooooooossssssss!

Wehrmacht or Schutzstaffel?

This video answers most of the nuanced point…
