As John Piper titled his book, "Don't waste your life." I am playing off that title. Unfortunately, John Piper took a pietistic approach to the last vote. He equivocated on Biden and Trump, comparing the two as having the same eternally damning sins that would certainly lead to the destruction of America.

I found Wayne Grudem's response to be very helpful. Here is his article: http://www.waynegrudem.com/a-respectful-response-to-my-friend-john-piper-about-voting-for-trump

Were there any states in the last election that would have flipped to Trump if all 3rd party votes went to Trump instead?

If I recall correctly, I think it was the opposite. I think Ross Perot was the last 3rd party candidate who actually hurt the Republican odds of winning

Not to my knowledge. There were many Republicans who didn't vote for Trump, but, instead voted for Witless Joe.

but even if there isn;t..... is it worth taking the chance that it could happen?...... ..

i used to consider myself a libertarian... though i have never voted for one.... . and most all the libertarians i know agree they would much prefer trump as president over what we have now....... ...so why did some of them vote in a way that could have helped biden win?... (just like voting for perot in 1992 helped clinton win?).... i got a myriad of different answers when i asked them.... .everything from it doesn;t matter in a democrat stronghold like hawaii anyway... to none of my business......

but the people i really want to hear from are the libertarian candidates themselves..... why did they .. claiming to be the more constitutionally minded than even the repbulicans.... run as a 3rd party when all it was likely to accomplish was split the conservative vote and insure a democrat victory?..... ..i figure their reasons are my business...

Yes, Piper is being rather self-righteous. Essentially, all of Trump's efforts were friendly to the free practice of Christianity, and that makes him a just magistrate, if not at the level of moral perfection Piper would demand of his pastor.

eKKK, I think we all know that we couldn't hold Trump up to the standards of a pastor...He'd never make it...though many pastors themselves couldn't make it these days, but could probably live up to the standards of POTUS!

Somehow people thank that despite the continuing loss of liberty, the growth and intrusions of governments, the eroding of your currency, the "ignoring" of the Constitution, and the continued move to socialism/communism, you think your vote actually makes a difference.

I'm not saying to not vote. Everyone should. Just realize the jig is up. Yes, it is a paradox.

IFB X-Files, have the socialists completely taken over your planet yet? If so, how are things going for your people? The sad fate of your planet under socialism may serve as a salutary warning for us Earthlings, under the misrule of Biden, Kamala and Occasional-Cortex.
