Hate to tell you, but I think they've always been supportive (at least the last ten or fifteen years) supportive of many things most Christians stand against. This is nothing really new.
Regardless of your doctrine and ethical convictions, Idolatry Month is a good time for listening to pagan voices.
Very possibly. I know back in the 80s it seemed some were letting many of their "standards" slip. I noticed many of my author friends starting to "self publish" during this time. I can see why.Longer than that, I'm sure. I observed at least 20 years ago that none of the big Grand Rapids publishers (Zondervan, Kregel, Eerdmans, or Baker) were uncompromised. I think the others may have been just publishing alternative views (and take that for what it's worth), and not necessarily on human sexuality specifically. But Eerdmans is the first one I've seen become openly defiant about it.
