episode 54.... kilauea erupts into a lava fountain again....

officially this is the 54th time lava has erupted into a fountain at kilaueau since this
latest cycle of eruptions began in june of 2023... ...but these are only episodes of
venting that serve to release built up pressure in the dome of magma itself.... .

however.... due to the slow but consistent rise of the basin floor above the dome
since 2023 - geologists believe it;s only a matter of time before a major eruption
like the one that happened in 2018 happens again......

here is how it started back in june of 2023... ... prior to that kilauea was fairly docile.
. ... since then it has gone back and forth between lava fountains up to 1300 feet high
to the smoking craters you can see as i am posting this...... if you clicked on this thread
when i first created it you would have seen the giant lava fountains... .. the next time
that happens will be episode 55 - - unless - kilauea decides to blow off a lot of pressure
all at once... ....eventually it will -
