With the untimely suicide of David Baker, I had hoped Dave Hyles' "restoration" ministry would fade away. Unfortunately, like cockroaches, they found a new home. Greg Neal's church in Jacksonville, Florida is now the sponsoring church. Remember Greg and his hidden video cameras? Yep, same guy. Well, birds of a feather and all. Warn your friends.20250105_172908.png

Yes, warn your friends, and note the name change from Fallen In Grace to Galatians 61. His new Galatians 61 web site is up, but with almost no info. In this 11 minute Facebook video, Dave shares his vision for the ministry. He says he had to move the ministry from Family Baptist in Columbia, Tennessee "by necessity" without going into any details, except that he refers to "all the things that took place, the tragedies that took place in Tennessee" and he says these events were "divinely appointed." He says he moved to Immanuel Baptist because no other church in America wanted to host his ministry (I can't imagine why)! He is making arrangements to keep his "ministry" going after his death.

For those who want to get up to speed on "all the things that took place in Tennessee," check this article:

Unlike the old site, I'm not blocked from seeing this one, so there's that. Not that there's anything to look at. Hi there, please donate thru our app.

And don't forget this guy. He promoted the old site and is now promoting the new on his Twitter site.

Well, there's 10 minutes I won't get back.

Despite the personalities involved, the whole premise of this 'ministry' is fallacious, and people who see the pastorate as a calling, and not simply an office, foster and enable this kind of thinking.

We are all called to service. That calling is irrevocable. But no one is called to be a pastor, like one was called to be an apostle or a prophet. Restoral isn't about office, it's about fellowship.

There was nothing specific on Dave's latest video, as to any tangible activities or accomplishments that have taken place through his ministry, nor have I seen anything about it anywhere else, including his previous web site. Likewise with his new web site, just a pitch for us to send money, with no explanation as to what will be done with it. I guess that's good enough, when you are one of the "World's Greatest Men!"

According to this Facebook post, Galatians 6:1 Ministries is located in Cochran, Georgia, presumably in the same building as Red Barn Bed and Breakfast, 419 Hudson Jones Rd., Cochran, Georgia:

The post mentions an Evergreen Baptist Church in Cochran. It is unclear what connection, if any, this SBC-affiliated church has with Galatians 6:1 Ministries and/or Dave Hyles.

The post states that Pastor George Bell was living in Dave Hyles' bed and breakfast. He was until recently the pastor of Anchor Baptist Church (IFB) in Columbus, Ohio, and was charged with 6 felony counts of rape and "gross sexual imposition" against a victim younger than 10.

Pastor Bell pleaded guilty to two charges and the other 4 were dismissed:

Anchor Baptist Church is "King James Only" - from their doctrinal statement:
  1. We believe the King James Bible is the perfectly preserved, inspired Word of God and the final authority on all matters. It is the only Bible we use and from which we preach and teach.
  2. We believe in old-fashioned fundamentalism and separation. We believe in separation from churches and religious organizations which do not believe in the fundamental doctrines of God’s Word, and separation from worldliness: dress, contemporary “Christian” music, “spiritual” dancing, “spiritual” laughter, and so called “spiritual” praise and worship.
The post also mentions someone called Kelly Choma. Internet search gives her residence as Hammond, Indiana. Here is the latest dope on Kelly's brushes with the law:

RUN don't walk from these people

All please note: This seems to be a female Kelly Choma in Georgia - not the Kelly Choma who attended HAC.
