Napalm in the morning is just a good line. The writing as much as the acting made the character memorable.
true..... ransom and i were talking about that yesterday.... ...robert duvall played the part of boo radley.... a non-speaking part... . but i read something about that last night which said a few lines were written into the script for duvalls character... and at least one even made it into the film pre edit.. but the scene was deleted........ .....i would love to see it... but unlike today directors in the past didn;t save deleted scenes....His first movie was to Kill a Mockingbird
I want you to go out there and hit the pace car.My favorite is Gone in 60 Seconds - mostly because I'm a car guy. Days of Thunder was a close second.![]()
Godfather 1/2 still his best movies thoughI enjoyed him in days of thunder. Maybe the only thing I enjoyed in days of thunder.
The Great Santini was his best role in my opinion.
This got me to thinking who's screen acting I've been most impressed with. I had to think for a while.Robert Duvall is my favorite actor of all time!
Mine would be Jimmy Stewart with John Wayne and Cary Grant right there alsoThis got me to thinking who's screen acting I've been most impressed with. I had to think for a while.
Martin Landau. You'll know him from tv's Mission: Impossible and Space 1999. I got a DVD set of the complete series second hand and watched it with the kids. The guy was the best actor I've seen on screen. Even in the bit parts he had.
That's not to say there aren't some good ones out there. Michael Keaton and Tom Hanks are close seconds.
If Landau and Hanks were contemporaries, though, I think Landau would have landed the roles in Sully and Captain Phillips.
