FTX collapse and Covid research

I've known people to take ivermectin for flu, for certain types of pneumonia, and for several other ailments, and they
have had great success with it. I've always believed in the principle of following the money and always have practiced this.
 
I never heard of ivermectin till people started singing its praises for the treatment of covid. I looked into it and frankly, I fail to understand how an antiparasitic drug helps with an upper respiratory viral infection. Especially since it has been approved for human use for the past 35 years, the government has no business prohibiting its use for the treatment of covid. My theory is that the government trying to prohibit its use only made it gain popularity.

I supposedly had covid (home trest positive) back in January of '22. It felt like a bad chest cold with a low grade fever. Tylenol and ibuprofen for fever and aches... Sudafed at night to keep my sinuses open (very helpful) and Throat Coat tea and five days of rest was all I needed. I have informed my employer that if I ever get sick and start running a fever again, I am NOT taking any more tests. I am going to do what should be done with any communicable virus and staying home until I'm over it.
 
I had it in December of 2019 before they knew what it was, as did my wife. Then the last few days of August/first week of September last year, I was down with it, and again, so was my wife. The second time nearly killed me...she had mild symptoms both times. My immune system just isn't as good as hers. I have long Covid, where she has nothing. We've neither one taken the shots, and we won't. If I get it again, I hope I'll recover from it.
 
I am just amused that a Ponzie Scheme funded the Democratic party and squelched alternative treatments for the pandemic, but we call that science and not agenda driven, and the good news is they still got George Soros, lol.
