Whenever the church has a cookout, I'm always in charge of the grill. I crank out burgers and dogs... We do have some that want a "meatless" option. I just quietly comply and grill up the Boca Burgers or whatever vegan option they want. I discovered that the veggie burgers take forever to cook, whereas, beef burgers cook up in just a couple minutes. So, I began cooking up the veggie burgers right next to the beef ones so the dripping fat and flames spatter all over the veggie burgers, cooking them to a perfect color with grill marks very quickly. They come out moist and frankly, quite tasty. Everyone says I cook up the best burgers... Even the vegans!
If they only knew....
